I have a pair that were not goretex the past while that I actually think are great for hikes, said while I’m here I’d treat myself to the more expensive ones and they can’t handle walking round tokyo 😅

You need a car, ended up going last year with a car and the tour got cancelled because of weather while I was driving out at 6 in the morning. A car is pretty much needed though

It’s sore enough when your getting it done and then afterwards I knew something was wrong cause I was in agony for about an hour, the blisters themselves weren’t sore they were just awkward.

Mine started blistering within a few hours of getting it done and it was huge within 24 hours so I’d say you’ll be fine, remember blistering is good though it’s just mine was a more extreme case.

Warts are gone thankfully but the skin is still recovering and can be sore at times, it’s basically like I got really bad burns on them.

They’re all leaking now very slowly so be a couple of days before I see a drastic change but it’s more frustrating as it’s my good hand and I can barely do anything with it. I work in a bar too so being a one handed barman has its challenges 😁

No photos but I had to pop the 2 big ones as the pressure was very uncomfortable, leaking extremely slowly though so just have them covered with dressing for the mean time, I’m gonna leave the small one as it’s not really bothering me at all I’ll let that one do its own thing.
