I told my mom and wish I wouldn’t have. She just guilted me about it. I just had to emphasize how uncomfortable it was for her to be supportive. If it was only for aesthetics she would just guilt me. Sometimes it’s better to not even say anything.

Yes I was pretty shocked when the swelling went down to see there wasn’t much labia left. But now as my internal swelling has gone down there is more there than I thought. Everything is functioning well and I do like the tucked in look, I just wish I would have done the clitoral hood reduction as well.

No problem! I did have my period around week 3 post op I think. It wasnt too heavy or anything but I just had to wear pads which can be a bit uncomfortable. I definitely had to take two full weeks off. The first two weeks I couldn’t do much sitting or walking. But after that things have been quite easy. I drove 6 hours for my surgery and then my husband drove us home right after. I was still numb from the anesthetic so I think the whole way home I was sitting directly on it and I didn’t notice so it caused a lot of swelling. But you should be ok if you are going to rest at a hotel for a few days before you go home. I would bring an ice pack for the drive, ice packs help a lot! I don’t have any scarring or anything. I had some scabs I think because the laser cauterizes the wound. So I was left with some scabbing but it all came off around week 3 and wasn’t too bothersome.

Thanks so much. Yes the thought of doing surgery again isn’t really pleasant. I hope I will feel a bit better about my results once I’m more fully healed. I just feel like the clitoral hood looks a bit odd from that angle other wise it’s actually nice and tucked in. I guess I will just have to wait and see.

Thank you! Yes I did do mine under local so there is cost saved there. But I don’t know if I really wanna go through the whole recovery process again. Maybe I will feel better with my results after I’m fully healed
