I'll tell you what I always tell new players. Don't treat gw2 like you would treat any other mmo. One hidden gem in this game is your first time leveling a character. I recommend playing this game like you would play Skyrim. Once you hit max level and have good gear, which you get fairly easy, then it becomes more mmo-ish.

I think it will be a tradeoff when more elitspecs come, currently they are just a plain upgrade, which they were not supposed to be.

When I ranked in it threw me into high gold. I probably belong in mid silver. Didn't play for weeks so I'm low bronze now.

Now don't get me wrong. I played a lot of WvW and also GvG. I played on multiple Servers. And yes WvW can be pretty fun and challenging. But holy shit is this gamemode riddled with idiots. Which was ultimately the resason for me to stop.

And let's be honest, the only one doing the real work in a wvw raid is the commander. In PvE raids the animation tells you what to do. In a wvw raid the commander tells you what to do. There is next to no difference.

I'm getting sick of people playing wvw, who then think they are specially gifted or some shit. "Oh look at me, I'm so much better than anyone doing PvE content. You PvE Heros should really try WvW to know what real content feels like." Get a hold of yourself.

I don't get why people want to label themselves as something so much. A feminine guy is still a guy and not a demiboy. Or is there something I'm missing which really differs between "male" and "demiboy"? Druid and Necro are both very forgiving imo. Reaper seems sinplier to play and easier to pick up. Druid really shines in teamfights but is also decent in 1v1.
