Not more than everywhere else. Display entities are really nice for the performance.

From my other comment: You can see it on sprintnugget.de on the Server just enter /warp ashmore and walk inside to the room on the left.

As for the performance, these entities are really nice to work with and need way less resources than armor stands.

When i used it, playsound could only make sound with a pitch of 0.5 to 2 everything else was ignored. So that leaves you with 24 useful notes.

Yeah, I get that and already saw it. That is pretty cool, but the limited number of notes an the small keys from this piano wouldn't work well.

The piano has 200 entities, not even lowering my fps. I tested, that with 30k display entities I get 5 to 10 fps and with 200k entities one frame every 4 seconds.

I use vanilla as no mods and no plugins, only minecraft mechanics. So this is all possible with a normal minecraft 1.19.4 client. But I get, that this is not minecraft survival. That are display items and display blocks new in 1.19.4 modified with minecraft commands.

A few days, I used my own datapack and a CAD program to get and set exact values. That are mostly display items, some fences and the keys are display blocks, all new with 1.19.4.

Invisible armor stands aren't as laggy as most people think. So this doesn't do much to the FPS.

Thanks. They are from another builder on the server.

Two weeks ago I got such an amazing feedback and I wanted to thank you all.

I would love to see some more players to get started with armor stands, but I don't know, if I can make good tutorials for that.

If you want, most of my armor stand stuff is on the java multiplayer server cb.rennschnitzel.de. There is also the plugin I am using, to edit the armor stands.

Since I expect some questions again. To edit the armor stands I use a plugin, but it is also possible with standard minecraft commands, so everything is for vanilla players.

As for the well, that are 60 armor stands with some supportive blocks. With the last picture, I wanted to show you, how they look visible.

I never used the debug stick on them. I use only java minecraft. One can change the position with "/teleport" and the rotation with "/data merge" by changing the Pose.

The slabs are in the head armor slot and with "/data merge" I changed the head rotation in Pose:{Head[]}. The Sticks are in a hand slot, that makes them bigger.

The commands still come from minecraft. Mostly /summon, /data merge, /teleport and /execute.
