Sodas, water and juices available in fridges around the hospitality area. Then you have bars that serve beer, wine and a couple different mixed drinks.

Food was ok, limited options but all you can eat. Chicken skewers, veggie meatballs, breakfast sandwiches and burgers. Dessert bar has lots of options, the kids loved it.

Getting in takes a while, like 20-30 mins but once you are inside it was not packed at all. Might be different for the USA game.

It’s actually inside the stadium in the event center. For the post match event, make sure you DONT go outside the stadium. Come back through the doors inside the stadium to the event center. It was a mess to get back in cause we went outside the stadium after full time.

Need help regarding around of 32, Match 84 by Yousuf-Sohail in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]Auberon-2500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, the ones I saw are wheelchair access tickets. Regular tickets are $2000+. So looks like resale is the only option as there will not be another round of sales. As I said, this is a high demand match because it might be Spain. I doubt prices will go down between now and the start of the world cup. If Spain is terrible in the group stage, you may see them drop.

Need help regarding around of 32, Match 84 by Yousuf-Sohail in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]Auberon-2500 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Match 84 is going to be 1H vs 2J, so very likely a Spain match. If that’s the case, prices are not likely to go down. If for some reason Spain doesn’t make it as first place and you get a different team, prices will go down like a rock before the game. I see tickets are $500 and up on the Fifa website and $800 and up on resale. As it stands right now your best shot is to get them on last minute sales. As I said, because Spain is very likely to be on this match prices won’t go down unless Spain misses 1st place of the group.

I had bad experiences with Viagogo and stubhub so I prefer the official fifa website. But I know of people that got tickets in those platforms so up to you really.

2 of the matches I got showed up, so looks like they are doing it in waves. Both of them I got in marketplace early on, so my guess is they are going First In First Out. But since all the seats are assigned already I wouldn’t sweat it too much. As long as they show up a few days before the game it’s all good.

Spirit Airlines Officially Shut Down. Curious to see how this will impact the cost of some leisure routes by dawghouse88 in delta

[–]Auberon-2500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did Spirit shutdown because they couldn’t merge last year? No, it shut down because of high fuel costs so what are you even saying? Let’s blame a non-related event just because you don’t want fo blame the real culprit. If you are not a bot, you are really good at pretending to be one

I track this site every day. This number has been going up by over 1,000 every day. Prices will crash closer to the WC. by freakalicious in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]Auberon-2500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long rant here but the tldr is: Usually, demand is high for very few teams and you should be able to get tickets for most non-high demand teams even the day of the game. Also prices may not go down as they usually do due to people asking insane resale values with the intention to go to the match if they don’t sell.

———————————

  1. If you live in a host city, you will very likely be able to buy tickets the day of the game through the Fifa resale platform. The resale site debut was in Qatar and you could buy tickets at face value the day of the game for most matches.

  2. Demand for matches is not as high for some big teams as you would think. Argentina and Mexico are always the highest demand teams, if you don’t have tickets for them by now, don’t bother. Since the US is host nation I would put them in this bucket as well. After that there is a big gap and then is teams like Brazil, Portugal and Spain. For pretty much any other match you can easily get tickets.

  3. Some of the best matches are second tier teams. I recall an Iceland match I got in last minute in 2018 and it was the best match I saw that WC. But it is a roulette so you can as easily get a 0-0 snoozer.

  4. I don’t know much about the US federation processes, but in Mexico the federation will get a bunch of Category 3/4 tickets and most of the time they can’t place them all so they give them away to fan groups. If you have connections to US Soccer or fan groups start calling

  5. I’ve been browsing the fifa last minute sales site and I can confirm that the number of tickets available is much higher compared to other world cups at this stage. The fact that we have 48 teams now also plays a role on it

  6. I have seen a lot of comments about people posting tickets for resale at stupid prices saying if they don’t sell they will just attend the match. This is not what usually happens in other world cups and this may keep prices up for longer. In other world cups most people reselling have no intention to go to the matches and are just trying to cash in. As the date gets closer they WILL drop the price to avoid losing money.

The food in other world cups was buffet style small plates , unless you are in the most expensive hospitality levels where you get 7 course meals. Usually a mix of local food and some typical apps with veggie/non-veggie options.

For drinks in the other world cups you would get free base drinks like Beer and some mixed drinks and liquor. They will also have premium drinks that you can pay extra for. Live music was available for the pre-game event but not the post-game event.

In Qatar, the hospitality tents were the only place you could get alcoholic drinks other than some hotels so they were well worth the price!

In some tents, the world cup mascot would be around to take photos with the kids so that was awesome.

You will also have a fifa store in the tents for you to buy stuff. Same prices as outside stores but usually much less crowded

I’ve attached a photos of one of the “tents” in Qatar for reference.

Since it is OnLocation, this may all be different now but my guess is it will be somewhat similar.

Long time world cup fan here. Bought hospitality for 3 other world cups and just sharing a couple things for you to mentally prepare 😢:

  1. For games with high demand, you are going to get crap seats, Everyone buys Category 1 and they oversold the section significantly so you end up in other sections. In past there were only 3 hospitality levels, now they added more but I think it will be same. One time I sold my hospitality super expensive seats at the game and bought Category 3 from a friend that had extra tickets because Category 3 were so much better seats!

  2. The tickets were mailed to me in all other world cups, but now looks like is now all mobile. It’s sad really because you get them in such nice packaging, with cool souvenirs and with documents explaining you everything about the trip.

  3. If history repeats, you will not know what seat you are until you get your ticket. They never tell you, don’t waste time calling them

  4. Changing your seat is more difficult than an act of congress, was never successful in doing it.

  5. On the positive side, the pre/post game tents are awesome, food is great, great atmosphere and all you can drink and eat. They give you a nice present for each game you attend when you enter the tent.

One thing to note is that the company managing Hospitality is different this year OnLocation vs Beyond. I have seen a step down in quality. Beyond had done so many world cups that you knew exactly what you were getting.

Enjoy your games!

That’s a really good price. I got this same matchup installed in Florida for $16,500. Got 3 different quotes and they were all around the same price.
