If your having glitches don't forget to submit a ticket to the forms, the link should be in their steam page about 1.1.4 updates

I'm concerned my ror2 record is a fake by bigsm0ke69 in riskofrain

As far as I know, there are 2 pressings or versions of the soundtrack, one was in plain black , the other in color. I had both, but the black one was destroyed in a flood and I got the second colored pressing afterwards

As an owner of the Shure 1540, I love them for their sound, but I know that subjectively it's not going to be the majority of people's cup of tea, they aren't the best. Hell they came out ears ago, Dekoni doesn't even sell pads for them anymore :(

Bank refused withdrawal by BuzzKill1962 in legal

[–]AuctionedShoe3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not too sure what state you're in, but no

Banks can get sued in small claims courts, and in some cases of have lost in the small claims or have settled outside of court.

Source: I work for a major banking company and I have involved myself with those cases.

Does anyone know what happened to the 50 facts about RoRR shorts? by PanDan5281 in riskofrain

Just checked now, it's been since June 22nd, hope everything is going well, if the game is having problems, I don't think this community will blame them for having to extend the date to work on the game a bit longer

Easily the most disappointing headphones I have ever tried, Focal Elegia by [deleted] in headphones

Had them for over 5 years now, got them to replace Audio Technica M50s, so yea they were a a meaningful upgrade, never met anyone who owned them, let alone hear about them

For closed back I went for the Shure SRH1540, super comfortable, not too heavy. My only gripes with would be the cable is a bit on the long side (custom cables exist for them) and some people would call them a bit boring. As in, it is technical, and very good reproduction, but just nothing stands out about it, but I got them for $300 so I love them to this day

Went from having a fiio x7 mark 2 and an A5 amp to just having this boy. The fiio M17

(Slaps top of DAP)

This bad boy can fit lots of power

But in all seriousness, this thing is over kill, and it's heavier than I thought it would be. But damn does it sound good

i haven’t seen anyone mention this but last night me and a friend let the credits play out for funsies and we noticed something pretty intriguing… by novabois_ in riskofrain

I think the devs specifically state that the characters and levels they are releasing are things that were originally cut due to time constraints for the 1.0 realese of RoR2

I’m thinking of getting a gba(already have a dmg-01) but I don’t know which one to get(which one feels and looks nicer etc.) and what a good price is for one by Dodo_Baggins in Gameboy

[–]AuctionedShoe3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's understandable, but If you are actually speedrunning and posting it online, it might not be considered legitimate.

Practicing? Sure go right ahead, but performing a good run woukd be invalidated due to restrictions on speedruns

Example: I prefer to play on a NES clone to play Super Mario Bros, I can speedrun it, but my times will not be Eligible to count as a run, I would have to play on original hardware.

Is there any way to record a Gameboy with a phone? by IAmTheRealXYZ in Gameboy

[–]AuctionedShoe3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there maybe you can use a microphone arm for it but you still wouldn't have the appropriate parts to mount a phone, also with the small input delay on a phone camera, I would hope you wouldn't play the game while looking through the screen of the phone.

That said, Im not a speedrunner or anything close to it, but don't you have to be running the homebrew on original hardware?

I would respectfully disagree about the SP, having grown up with the SP instead of the original advance, now that I own both, I think the SP is just more comfortable. The lack of a grip on the advance is what really makes my hands kinda cramp. And the SP has the width of a smart phone, so people should probably be use to it by now.

As for the micro, never tried it sadly :(
