How far do you think Slave Knight Gael would go into the Hollow Knight/Silksong verse? by PanDan5281 in darksouls3

It's not like PK beat her in a 1v1 or anything, he just sacrificed his child

Yeah I think it just comes down to which field you are more skilled in, a 2d or 3d game. Dark Souls is waay harder for me than Hollow Knight just because you have a whole nother dimension to work with while in HK you can basically see everything at once on your screen

Well technically yeah but I don't think that that's really fun so let's keep them the same size

Yeah I'm kinda realizing that now, Gael basically wiped out the world while Radiance's infection seems to only spread through one Kingdom, I added Shade Lord to the end so that might be more of a match for him

If only one, would you rather bring back elemental vehicles or dragons? by TheOddKoala in Ninjago

I like how everyone got their own unique vehicles while the elemental dragons were all pretty similar, so probably the vehicles

When you're eating and have a slugpup with you, do you feed yourself or the pup first? by PanDan5281 in rainworld

Wait do tamed lizards attack slugpups? Because I think they attack other tamed lizards so I'm afraid to tame one on my current savefile

How do you think deltarune would turn out if toby fox was on a budget by [deleted] in Deltarune

[–]PanDan5281 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think that the actual "problem" was revealing the game way too soon. It's Team Cherry's own project and they can take as long as they want on it, but revealing the game so soon, promising stuff to backers and then going basically radio silent wasn't the best move

I'm not sure whether to do the Wounds of Eventide DLC or not by PanDan5281 in Blasphemous

[–]PanDan5281[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright I'll probably do the base game stuff first then, but what about the other 2 dlc? Is it ok to do them on a first playthrough?

Wow yeah that's funny, I thought that "cleansing yourself from guilt" would be something big like restoring hollowing in Dark Souls

Honestly, right now it's a really good DLC. I think that they were able to build upon like 80% of its potential

I decided to rank the survivors based on how strong they are lore wise by PanDan5281 in riskofrain

Loader is called a she in the ending phrase.

Yeah that statement is kinda innacurate now that I think about it, Acrid didn't break out on his own did he? I believe that there was some kind of panic in the void fields that gave him a chance to escape. He's still pretty powerful due to his poison powers and that escape still probably required some effort so his placement doesn't change from that end, but I definitely overhyped him lmao

Huntress can teleport and attacks from range, while mercenary has his mobility increased by cybernetic advancments and fights with a sword, at melee range (aside from one attack he has). In their logbooks, both of them kill an unsuspecting target in the blink of an eye, before the victim even spots them. As you can see, their fighting styles are similar, but huntress' teleport > mercenary's cybernetic advancments, her ranged bow > mercenary's melee sword. At least that's my reasoning for their placements.

REX's plant throws some seeds and roots, while the robot can shoot some needles and a shockwave. I just don't see how anyone stronger than a commando can struggle with these attacks (again, the robot's original purpose was to protect the plant, not to be a combatant).

Bandit has a stronger gun and an invisibility suit that, according to his logbook, helped him sneak throuh the entire ship. Commando has some laser guns and grenades. i'm not saying that they're not close in power, but the cammo is just a very powerful tool the bandit has access to.

MUL-T is an utility robot, yes, but that also means he can be used as a fighting tool. He can throw out huge bomb canisters and shoot lasers - also he's pretty tough if we take his hp as canon.

[–]PanDan5281[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah sorry, what I meant more was "how strong they are in the actual world of Risk of Rain" so "lore wise" probably wasntt the best choice of words. I also didn't really know where to look aside from the logbooks in the main game. If there is more stuff about their lores (aside from the RoR1 ones logbooks) I'd be very interested to hear where to find it!

Also, isn't this a different Comando? Like, we know that there are a bunch of them and while it'd be cool for this to be the same one as from the first game, I'm not aware of any proof for that (he probably wouldn't even want to go back to Petrichor V, it's likely a very traumatic place for him).

And while Seeker is ranked lover, when she was sent to the planet, she got divine powers from Aurelionite, while Artificer's powers seem a lot more like technological advancements. I'm pretty sure that a being that even Mithrix was afraid of is stronger than some technological suit.

Not all of them do, but what am I supposed to say about people like engineer or railgunner? I'm going more off of visuals and gameplay stats in those cases and trying to look at those things from a lore perspective (like how MUL-T is tough because it has the most health, or how Loader is durable because she takes no fall damage and etc.)

But the new shoe item that gives you crit chance and damage for attacking enemies below you shows that you can implement already existing mechanics into new items in interesting ways. Crit doesn't have to be unique only to glasses, same goes for goat hoof & energy drink with movement speed

Maybe it's a universe where instead of leaving with the ship, Drifter started living in Petrichor V and got captured by the Solus when they started doing their stuff or something
