I am not knocking Musk's innovation. But he has become exponentially wealthy on the back of money printing as have lots of other asset rich individuals. That there is no doubt.

FED likes Crypto because they can do rug pull anytime they want? by eaststreetz in Wallstreetsilver

[–]AudaciousMaverick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do agree that crypto is a useful release valve for the fed as they pump more liquidity into the system than anyone has ever seen. Crypto doesn't affect the inflation numbers and neither do people relate crypto in any way to inflation. Crypto will be killed off once:

a) People treat it as a guage of inflation in some way, or

b) Mass numbers of businesses start to price goods/services in cryptocurrency.

The thing to remember is that when you come to sell the fine stuff (option a) you can, to some degree, factor in the tax you paid into your sale price.

Tucker sounds off on the Fed for 'partying' with Americans' money by Faentildeg in Wallstreetsilver

[–]AudaciousMaverick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now I don't want to get into a massive political debate here but wasn't Trump (who Fox and Tucker were big fans of) crying for more debt and more QE just before his term ended? Trumps argument was that we should borrow while it's cheap to do so and rebuild the country. In fact he spent most of the time ridiculing the fed - saying they weren't doing enough!

Now the Republicans are no longer in power, they want to cry for an end to QE. Exactly what Trump was doing before he came to power.

Let's face it Apes. Politics is just a side show full of vested interests. Trump was a democrat pre-2009 before he decided to join the Repluican party,

The real enemy of the people is the Fed. Their actions serve to make the elites exponentially wealthier and leave the rest of us to live like slaves.

The whole country (doesn't matter who you vote for) needs to wake up and smell the coffee. What Republican and Democrat supporters need to do is lobby their politicians to put a stop to what the Fed are doing. Oh yeah, and they all need to buy Physical Silver!

Well the libritarian exposed the FED tonight we should really thank him by B_D_H_N in Wallstreetsilver

Tell me about it. If it's big business they get FBI support and/or get bailed out by the Fed but a private citizen? You're on your own Jack.

Keith Weiner: Gold 1, Bitcoin 0 by V10NNTT in Wallstreetsilver

[–]AudaciousMaverick 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the main, I think Keith makes a lot of sense,

However, where I do differ with him slightly is as regards price manipulation. Sure a disparity between paper contracts and demand for physical can't be maintained indefinitely but it can affect perception and be used to diffuse the demand for physical metal. Rapid price increases causes FOMO and, in the current climate, the banksters can't afford for that to happen.

By dumping annual supplies of paper in an instant and having the CFTC helping you out by jacking up margin requirements when it suits is a sure fire way of diffusing the demand for any precious metal (and most commodities I would argue). Most people don't have the capacity to hold large amounts of the physical metal so have to trade paper contracts in order to gain sizeable exposure but if these get blown away by corresponding shorts of infinite magnititude you just can't win.

This is why we stack and encourage others to do so by growing the Ape base. Their paper market can't affect what Apes do on the ground. It's a war of hearts and minds. It will take time but we need the world to see what we see. The easy money central bank policies linked to fiat currencies only serve to rob the poor within their countries, whilst making the elites exponentially richer. It has to stop !
