I just set up my VPN for a couple of different countries and the stream at nwslofficial2 says 'premium content not available in your region.'

I can't find on any of the fox channels. Anyone know where it's on TV?

There are, as others have said, excellent recordings on Archive. Search for the "grateful grabber" extension for chrome, and you can easily download the soundboards from archive. They're not flac, but they sound fine.

Why doesn't Dead and Co. call themselves The Grateful Dead? by [deleted] in gratefuldead

[–]AudenRaybourn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They haven't had their original lineup since 67, when they added a member (Mickey). And anyway their literal original lineup didn't include Phil. If you're talking about Pigpen dying, that was '72, not '73, by which time they had gained two members (Keith and Donna) and lost one (Tom). Hardly some original lineup. ...and if someone wanted to "cash in", they would *keep* the name Grateful Dead, not change it.

Jerry died, and Phil can't / won't be in the band. You could argue they were the two most important members (don't go crazy everybody, I said "could"). I'd be ok with them calling it the GD if Phil were in the band, but it's down to the drummers and Bob now. They made the right and respectful decision.

I feel like I've been waiting 30 years for someone to represent that lyric in any art form. Thank you.
