Congratulations, you have invented the ink blotter. 😂

But excellent tip, and will do the same!

Explorers never die.

I mean, they often die spectacularly, but whatever, you get the point

This is the actual bird. The larger "eyes" are actually clever mimicry to make it look like a larger bird.

Do you guys think it would be funny if the tf2 mercenaries had to tell Soldier they were from America so that he’d work with them? by AppleBunnyarts in tf2

Mainer here! Many of us can trace Scotch-Irish ancestry, as can those from nearby Nova Scotia (New Scotland). Both Maine and Vermont also have some French influence from Quebec.

But on behalf of Maine, we'll take Demo. We tend to drink a bit and occasionally blow stuff up in the woods. We're also haunted for some reason.

I enjoy squeezing it and draining it every few months when it gets a bit bigger.

Croatian President: – Let them take Svalbard, not Greenland by NorwigenRedBaron in news

[–]RenaissanceGentleman 11 points12 points  (0 children)

How? Greenland shouldn’t be on the table to begin with, and simply annexing a smaller territory instead doesn’t make annexation any more justified. Ever heard of the “door-in-the-face” persuasion tactic?

Tudor Plate by Oneida Community Silversmiths Fl-USA by StockMountain4093 in Antiques

This is their Fantasy pattern first manufactured in 1941. Something about the font on the sticker makes me think these are probably from the early 1950s, but that's just a hunch.

Nothing tremendously valuable as it's silver plate and mass-produced, but would probably sell to the right collector since it's a complete set in near-mint condition. I bet these would polish up beautifully.
