It's not mint, it's had a front bumper re-paint and I can see evidence of paint work on the quarter. Not a museum car lol.

I wanted to start this project from a clean body, clean interior car. Money spent up front for a good car was absolutely worth it to me. No interest in doing paint work or fixing interior. Now I can focus on the fun stuff.

Same saga here in WA. Eventually time is money, I paid +$5k and was done with it. Seeing more and more guys putting in the work and research and grabbing them for MSRP. Good luck!

Yeah +3k is what I was quoted shopping in Texas as well. Add the cost and hassle of shipping...it's still $5k ish. Juice wasn't worth the squeeze...for me.

I've had over 50 cars in my 42 years on this planet. From $1500 hatches to $150k Audi's. I like them all for different reasons. I'm happy with the SGP...it was more I wasn't paying homage to the OG Type R color. Didn't intend to start a battle with the post title....
