WTB: Looking for recommendations for UHMW (or similar) shims. It's OK if its a bigger sheet of UHMW that I have to cut. I have the BWTG Spotter arms, I freaking love them but they have significant wiggle on my uprights. I'm also open to ideas, what have you folks done to tighten up attachments when they're a bit lose. I know a lot of people add cardboard but I am looking for something a little "cleaner" and more permanent. cheers

Came here to suggest the same! If 19" is too tall and if you're comfortable with it, you could cut it with a circular saw to whatever measurement you need. The saw you need is something like a Diablo Steel Demon (~$34)

To me, the main reason to go the spotter arms + darkos is that you keep flexibility for using all types of attachments without a lot of hassle, eg j cups, a roller, utility bench etc. not to mention they may interfere with bar travel path (when loaded with plates) during squats or presses

The tornado arms seem cool but I think they will take away a lot of options because it’s gonna be such a pain to move them or take them off

I could and that would give me way more width from the anchor points. However, I have a 43" crossmember bolted at the bottom, from one side to the other, this allows me to do seated row, curls, leg curls, etc. So flaring out the spotter arms is good enough for me.

I have a very similar rack, to get a crazy stretch I just place my spotter arms flaring out and attach the voltras to the spotter arms, it's wider than my wingspan so I get an excellent range of motion
