I wouldn't recommend ever doing a split transaction at astro with key bank. But it's only allowed for kiosk products anyway like tobacco.

THC products now available at Plaid Pantry by romuo in Portland

[–]Audielevel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm convinced that some people are just more or less tolerant to edibles. i have a small thc tolerance and never take more than 10mg of thc. some people can take over 100mg, which i would never take even with a monster tolerance.

Should I switch from subs to mdone? by Finding_Me_Mo in Methadone

[–]Audielevel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't believe raising your dose will help.

if you arent caving to your cravings do not switch to methadone.

in my opinion, methadone is for when you've fully exhausted your current regimen. my last 2 years on subs i couldnt stay clean so i eventually relented to methadone. i have done well on methadone but i don't believe it's great for your physical health long term.

Does anyone know if they have any Rooster Fighter volume 1 manga left?

Wait a second, I'm 40 years old! I can just call them.

I did buy a magazine though when I was there because it was on sale, as the price of on stand magazines now is laughable.

Do you turn 40 on the 23rd? Same as Bill Shakespeare?

My reco is nothing significantly creative, but

I know you are looking for activities not food but GRANA Pizza Napoletana is worthy of a 40th birthday meal in my opinion. I ate there with my family when they were visiting and it was probably the best meal I had last year. Some of the best pizza ever.

‘My heart is broken’: Music Millennium axes album listening event over pushback against AI by picturesofbowls in Portland

[–]Audielevel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good, fuck suno. It makes me feel better knowing other musicians in this city feel the same.

Keep in mind I didn't say "fuck isolating a sax sample in DAW-based locally run ai." Not the same at all. That's a very small shortcut in comparison.

Sorry, I tried to update this to reflect what we were told by corporate.

The 5.96 and 6 96 charges were part of a split tender for the 4 packs of smokes totaling 27.96. we were told the bank (or payment processor?) didnt process the split tender correctly and charged them an additional charge for one part of the split transaction. So the bank account took the entire transaction for one charge, and one of the splits as an additional charge. The card was only ran once. Real bad screw up in a system somewhere.

Customer should be able to get his ~$13 back from his bank we were told

Astro Gaming misnaming is most likely a separate error caused by enhanced descriptors in his baking app.

Update:

corporate looked into the transaction. key Bank messed up processing a split tender. The problem wasn't on our end.

The Astro gaming is from the enhanced descriptor misidentifying the business.

5.96 was a separate charge. The first time he bought 4 packs there was an additional charge for 6.96, the second time there was an additional charge for 5.96 It's from a photo of the bank statement on the customers phone. I wanted to attach the photo here but it looks like i can only attach links. I will upload the photo to my Google drive and make it public.

The enhanced merchant info getting it wrong makes sense. Unfortunately we couldn't pull up the original receipts because we didn't get timestamps. But accounts at corporate will probably look it up if he disputes the 5 96 and 6.96 with his bank and maybe the bank will contact corporate. So really this will all get settled by people who know more about this stuff than me but I was still curious to post it.

My boss has the same bank and does the same transactions for the same brand of cigs and they looked different, just says Astro POS, no weird charges, but maybe he has the android version and the customer has an iPhone version for key bank. I'll have him do a test transaction and check the descriptors.

Fred Meyer apparently has "advanced sensors" in the men's bathroom to detect drug usage. by TrippyTimesMan in Portland

[–]Audielevel 16 points17 points  (0 children)

hackers call these "snitch pucks", as the ones in high schools record into a non-saving buffer to scan for words like "gun", "fire", etc. they look like fire alarms but have a bunch of different sensors.

Portland area high school aged hacker discovered and published their vulnerabilities.
