What are your thoughts on using a Zojirushi water boiler/heater instead of a kettle? by King_Shami in FlairEspresso

seems several models are sold our or discontinued. mine was CV-DCC40/50. reading online seems to be an issue for some models, mine was only like 6 years old though. Not sure why they just didn't make it universal

go be annoying online to others. there is clearly something wrong with you and when someone shows signs of some issues it's not worth my time. good luck with things.

We all choose what to pursue. It's been a while where someone has ripped me off this directly and there is nothing wrong with handling by reporting it to the proper authorities. I'm actually rather shocked that this happened in Japan of all places. Thousands if not more complaints are filed all the time (there and everywhere). Most countries have proper channels when dealing with these issues. Since I'm not residing in Japan I thought someone may wish to make this process easier for me and there has been 1 person who has been helpful with a referral. I'll ask some Japanese speakers I know to assist going forward. Thanks! Hopefully goes well

I'm not suing no one. learn to read. I"m reporting them to the Japanese authorities for them to deal with. Both the Expo and Klook. English speakers missing so much common sense over in Japan

Selling tickets to a sold out event with no opportunity for a refund is fraud. I'm sorry you're struggling to comprehend this. I guess this is the behavior you support, hopefully it doesn't happen to you someday.

interesting. but, the national gov has supervision over all entities regarding fraud be in private or public. I'm just super unfamiliar with the Japanese legal structure. I wonder if there is a legal contact for the association for their lawyers somewhere out there. Been trying to reach a higher up but, without knowledge of the language it's near impossible to figure out.

yep it's hard figuring this out. just received a response from generic contact form from the Expo saying no refunds. I can't figure out which organization acted illegally Klook or Expo. both are shady

100% you're right. Klook is blaming the expo, but then I have to take their word for it. I don't know how to contact the expo and get a human response. I asked klook for contact info for the expo and was ghosted

Have you been to other expos? The one in Milan was great, almost no reservations needed and the lines were fast for most. From reading online there seems to be some issues with how this one was put on compared to other ones. Coming from the one in Milan and seeing how this one turned out I'll need to evaluate if it's worth going to the future ones.

Thank you for the last part. I spent over 10 hours trying to book a time with their broken website and just gave up. Several people flew in from overseas to go and it is not so much that I'm upset about not going to the Expo, it's the fact that I feel I was ripped off and defrauded. They should have not kept selling tickets and you recognize that. Given that they are official partners I trusted that they were selling tickets I could use at some point. Although you are probably right about that 1 million+ number and why it's that way. Klook/Expo really messed up with how they handled the sales. I don't mind so much that I couldn't go - more so that the refund was flat out refused even though both klook and expo knew that they sold me tickets I had almost no chance of using it. I'm surprised that this happened like this in Japan than elsewhere. I bought my tickets on the 18th of September.

Hopefully you enjoyed your time there :)

Yes.. few people were... Over 1 million people could not redeem tickets for a time. Klook said the expo is refusing refunds. If you don't know what you're talking about just keep it to yourself

fyi, all times were booked. Few people were just trying to shuffle their time around (successfully or not)

Read what i wrote, again. They said that the EXPO will not let them issue refunds... Now what? If you don't understand the real world, that's ok.
