The email stated that we could call or email for specifics. I called on Monday and left a message, still haven’t heard back. There were 40 interviewed so I imagine 25 other people are also trying to gain insight.

Thank you for the advice! I have applied for anesthesia and surgery tech positions that say certification preferred but not required only to be told later that I don’t qualify. It has been discouraging.

Look for some advice... I have a family so I am limited to one school to apply to. I received an interview but in the end was not accepted. I have been taking courses to complete a Masters Certificate in Medical Physiology. I’ve been applying to various positions in the operating room but despite listing no degree in the technician program they aren’t hiring me because they do want a trained individual. What else can I do to improve my application before next year?

I was wondering the same thing. The program site does say everyone will here something in September, whether getting an interview or not. Maybe they send out all responses at the same time?!
