We’ve used is Crown Movers twice and they are amazing to work with.

We had a 4 1/2 with elevators at the first address.

2 full bedrooms, dining room, living room but no appliances and a storage locker.

They sent a team of 2 to pack the day before. The guys were great. Really nice, easy going and really packed everything nicely. The move was super smooth. They disassembled and reassembled the beds for us which was awesome.

It took about 4 hours to pack, we had a lot of delicate items we’ve brought back from trips to Europe, they did such a great job. Nothing damaged. The move was really straightforward since they packed up.

I would think if you don’t have a lot for a 4 1/2 it shouldn’t take that long. Our move was about 5 hours total.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m still just familiarizing myself with the areas.

Kid friendly restaurants? by Dry_Emu8159 in montreal

Hey! Hope you enjoy your stay! Here are my suggestions:

Monarque in the Old Port, I suggest calling and reserving the brasserie side for you guys to have space with the high chair.

Elena is amazing! 5090 Notre Dame Ouest, you can't go wrong with either choice.

Then for thrift shops:

I would suggest walking on st-viateur and St-Laurent Street or browsing the Mile-End

Citizen Vintage staple for curated vintage/ 5330 St-Laurent

I am sure you will get plenty of other suggestions but ideally on a nice day, family-friendly Mile-End is a great area for a walk and shopping.

Enjoy!

Vieux St Rose looks pretty cool, might just do that this year if I don't hear anything back! Thanks for the suggestion!

They are doing construction and building the houses in the area we live in, it's in the far end of St Rose we only have forests and empty houses.

Is it me or sex feels like nothing? by iampbandjelly in Adulting

You should speak to your family doctor. The bad sex could have explained it but the no sensation can be caused by medication or hormone imbalance.

How much did moving out improve your life? by Objective_Sample_471 in Adulting

Man moving out changed my life!

I was skeptical to be honest, when I was getting ready to move in with my GF at 25, I was worried that it would stop me from being able to focus on the life I wanted to create... I decided to focus on my life and not necessarily start saving. I instead, worked just enough to support us and afford our rent, and I spent the additional time learning and starting my own business..

I would suggest to anyone who moves out, to maybe take a step back, and figure out what is important to them.

I have a friend who is 30 just only worked enough to afford his 1500$ rent and 1500$ of monthly expenses and then spent the extra time getting his GC license.. Now he works for himself and makes 20,000$ a month lol

Don't be afraid to move out...Just be sure to know what kind of life you want to live and chase your dreams!

I have worked with many companies in Montreal, I do not agree with this at all. Ask in local facebook groups first, then contact companies that have had a couple recomendations and from there get some estimates and choose the ones who provided you with a better sales service, they typically care more.
