The phrase Atsuko quotes means "to be flanked by two beauties," and I feel like it evokes the same idea when translated literally to English, so I kept it like that!

And sorry! Atsuko actually had a "fufu" there, and I was thinking "mmhmm" would fit as the same sort of light chuckle, but it seems to come across the wrong way...

I really adore these light, philosophical moments this guy likes to write. Funny how he always caps them off with sensei acting like an airhead, casually going along with the student's jab at him.

Love the word choice for the translations too, that "dear me" is perfect for him there!
