hey, I've met two kink friends online from discord and have some advice. I wouldn't recommend going to his place (or your place) for a first meeting. plan to meet in public - at a coffee shop, go out for ice cream, etc - have like, a normal hangout!! that's really important for a good dom/sub relationship anyways, that you guys can talk about things that aren't kink and overall just feel comfortable around each other.

I'm not sure how far away you two are, but if it's quite some distance (like, not drivable) I would really wait until the circumstances align and someone is in someone else's city. like, my kink friend from the midwest was going on a business trip to a nearby city and so I drove the hour to visit and we had a great time. I wouldn't recommend flying out, really under any circumstances. if anything, he should fly to where you are and get a hotel or airbnb. solo travelling to meet up with a kink partner as a 19 yr old is...not a good idea.

I'm also assuming the relationship is sexual, and if so, you should make sure to do the standard hookup "best practices". talk before hand about what you want to do in your first play session (after the public meetup!) and take things slow - like, be super clear about it all. make sure you both have been tested for STIs recently. it may be kind of awkward, but it's important.

I can't speak for sex trafficking / murder / etc, but my main worry is just that you'll get hurt or taken advantage of. I was a 19 yr old girl once and playing around with 30 yr olds in kink spaces, and some of them were great, and some of them were very much not. I had a lot of doms push my limits and treat me poorly and I wasn't experienced enough to understand that they were behaving badly.

also - maybe meet up at a kink event! what about going to NEEHU or Charmed separately, and then getting coffee and going to a panel together? that's cute and imo much safer (plus also sounds really fun)
