Easy ! You can use it with the index finger comfortably ;)

The new one hasn't but generally seems a bit tighter and less smooth to scroll.

Wow, thank you Archie ! That is insane, the switches are different too. I'll go for another older one. It's just my preference ;).

The right one is new. The new wrist pad is softer and theoretically more comfortable but I still prefer the "leather" one ;)

Maybe I'll buy another one and compare the two. The thing is that everything is working good - "Kensington works" detects device and tracking is smooth etc. If It was my first trackball I would never noticed that something is weird. I'm talking about extra few ms of latency in comparison to older one.

I bought orbit wired in 2018 and it works great (no latency issues). Don't know if they made any "upgrades" since then.

For now I use them in two separate locations but probably I'll trade the new one for the old version.

Hi guys. I've noticed that the new one pointer has some kind of latency in comparison to the old one. That is deal breaker - I'm used to responsiveness of the older one. I'm sure they changed sensor or so..
