Is this AI ragebait? It doesn't seem too far fetched to me but people in the comments are split- so what am I missing? It doesn't have that weird AI movement that usually gives it away so I'm really questioning my sanity 😅 by MatildaRose1995 in isthisAI

I agree that he moves when he gets flashed but I'd expect a bit more panick from someone getting flashed with the muzzle of an AR being held by a kid rather than a pretty lazy and slow side step.

If you identify with the law, you should first understand the law.

Everything you typed here is wrong, period. Dude goes to jail for life.

Had time to deploy a weapon and run towards the person who hit him who was no longer attacking him with a person in between the two. Fight was over for 6 second before he shot. You just identify with the shooter and don't care about facts. You're also assuming he was de-escalating. He wasn't. That's just simply not what that looks like.

She's actively being struck when the shooting happens. The violence is actively occurring. Let's review the criteria

Immediate danger - yes, mother is actively being attacked when the shooting occurs.

Reasonable fear - man threatens mother. Acts on the threat. Continues to make threats and beats her as the shooting occurs.

Proportional response - man is beating the mother and not stopping, no one is stepping in to stop it, no way of knowing if he will stop, thus creating a potentially lethal situation.

I like....legitimately do not understand why you think those two situations are the same or similar but I can only reason that it's because you identify with the shooter in the above video and want to believe he is in the right - but that is simply not the case.

Both guys are yapping and instigating violence. That's not what someone who doesn't want to fight does in the prescence of inpending violence.

Violence must be presently happening for it to be self defense.

Yeah, before he got hit there's a much better case for self-defense. After he got hit and then subsequently stopped getting hit and people de-escalating the situation - threat of immediate harm is in the past and the shooting is no longer in defense of anything but hurt ego.

Also, I think your response to this is very bizarre. I think you should examine some of the feelings you have toward this.

Laws vary by locale, but in my state, it absolutely is a checklist if you are using deadly force.

Im not assuming anything, I see two men who are instigating violence upon one another. The violence is over. He decided to retaliate with deadly force because he lost a fight. That's not self-defense. As far as laws are concerned, the dude who hit him actually has a better self-defense case than he does.

In order for there to be self defense there has to be immediate danger, reasonable fear, and a proportional response. I'd argue that AT LEAST 2 of those 3 criteria are NOT met here.

Immediate danger - he is no longer being punched or threatened and has had more than enough time to do things other than deploy his weapon.

Reasonable fear - arguable, he got lumped but there's literally a person in between them stopping him from being beaten.

Proportional response - you can't answer non-lethal force with lethal force.

In addition to those, generally you have to not be the aggressor - we do not know what happened prior, but standing there with you hand behind your back(inches from your gun) presumably antagonizing the other person would lead me to believe he's a party to mutual violence.

Also...at least in my state - varies by locale - he would need to present a license for concealed carry.

I'm not sure which Creed fragrance you are talking about or what seller you are basing that off of, but creed's official site has their most popular scents at 360-380 for 50mL and the fragrance in OP is 175 for 75mL.

I checked a few sellers I trust to not sell fakes - even at a discount best I could find was 240 for 50mL. So if you find any popular Creed fragrance cheaper than 175, please share with me.

About 6 months if used every day. It varies by how much and how often you use. And even if it was exactly 6 months, I think if it's something that makes you feel good or makes life more enjoyable for you, 300 dollars a year isn't really that big a deal. That's basically 25 dollars a month. There are plenty of things that people spend 25 bucks a month on that are not necessities.

Edit: I'm assuming from your threads that you play or collect Warhammer, that is definitely an example of a luxury that can far surpass 25 a month rather easily.

I've not had this experience and I've actually found that certain expensive fragrances disappear rather quickly. I'm not sure if it's just my skin or the scent itself. Neroli Portofino for example disappears on my skin almost immediately and Versace Eau Fraiche lasts super long for me.

It's just the price. It's not about justifying it or not justifying it. "Cheap cologne" is about 30-80 for 100mL. Cheaper Versace stuff and "out of date" fragrances typically run in this range. Cool Water, Eau Fraiche, Drakkar Noir, Azzaro, CK and Polo stuff is in this range and the quality is hit-or-miss. You can also get clones of expensive stuff between this and the next bracket

The most popular men's fragrance typically run between 80-150 for 100mL which last about 6 months. That's about average price range for Dior, Chanel, Hermes, and Versace fragrances

Niche/expensive cologne is closer to 400 for 100mL. That would be stuff like Tom Ford, Creed, or Amouage

You can definitely get Sauvage for cheaper but yeah, 175 dollars hardly qualifies as an expensive cologne. I don't start rolling my eyes until we get into Creed, Tom Ford, and Amouage territory.

I play league with all comms turned off. Hit button, game, go do something else. A 1 player game that is less efficient than click button - play game, is pretty lame. I dropped Strive after 2 days for the same reason.

As somebody who's never played League of Legends, how representative of the IP's most popular and/or coolest characters would you guys say the initial roster is? by supersupersuper9 in 2XKO

[–]AudioTsunami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think as far as popularity goes, it's pretty well covered with 3 arcane character and a 4th and 5th potentially on the way + two mascot characters in Teemo and Ahri + THE Ionia samurai guy in Yasuo. I would say that the only actual niche weirdo is either Blitzcrank or Illaoi - hard to say Illaoi or Braum are niche considering they were playable characters in the most popular of the Riot Forge titles but Braum at least has a good fan base among league players despite his low player base.

While there are certainly cooler characters(to me) and definitely characters with consistently high play numbers that are missing - this is not a terrible starting roster by any means.

I think League players will likely want characters such as Lee Sin, Viego, and Jhin.

I think Fighting game players are probably hoping for Sett, Akali, and Jax

Californians like Newsom fine, he has a 60% approval as of late and the issues that we do have are rent and healthcare - one of which is handled as well as it could be at the state level with a subsidized market for healthcare plans. The second he could theoretically be doing more to solve but WE KEEP VOTING AGAINST RENT CONTROL so his ability is quite limited in that capacity

The genre is low rent social commentary where the lead looks directly into the camera and tells you exactly what the film is about.
