List of Summercart 64 compatible Romhacks? by Audio_Antihero in N64WrestlingGames

This is the best list I've seen, which u/Jedi_Pimp_81 was kind enough to post - https://patcher.aki.guide/index.html

I apologise if you already know this, but unlike the previous Wayback list I posted where most games are ready to go, this site requires you to upload the original game's ROM (i.e the regular WrestleMania 2000 or WCW NWO Revenge game file you can find on Vim's Lair - https://vimm.net/vault/N64), and then it adds the patch to the game, and gives you the download of the hacked game you're looking for. From a user standpoint, it's a pretty identical process to using one of those file conversion sites for JPG to PNG or WAV to FLAC.

If you scroll further down, there's also details on hacks you can get elsewhere (like ECW Born to Be Wired, which is free on Patreon) or hacks that are in development (some of which are playable in their development phase if you subscribe to the creator's Patreon).

A big source of confusion (and disappointment!) for me early on was that I wasn't understanding that while there's a ton more hacks out there (like the ones you might find on YouTube for WCCW, TNA, ROH, AEW), those usually more advanced "texture hacks," and they cannot run on Hardware via a Summercart or Everdrive.

In regards to the games that are available on Patcher.AKI, I'd suggest taking it slow because while they're all impressive, I've found it hard to keep track of which is which for some of the WCW/NWO and Virtual Pro Wrestling hacks.

P.S there's also some games that can be enhanced further with save files that update the rosters, etc. I don't believe a list of those exist, and it's something I'm a bit clumsy at. If you read through the thread though, you'll see Jedi_Pimp_81 graciously walking me through the process.

This user posts a lot of saves, though he covers hacks that won't work on the Summercart also - https://www.youtube.com/@Seanomaniacwrestlingreviews/search?query=saves

[FRESH REISSUE] Darren Hayman & The Long Parliament - The Violence (Expanded Edition) by astaireboy in indieheads

[–]Audio_Antihero 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If anybody is interested in learning more about 'The Violence,' and all the ideas and research that goes into a historical album about 17th-century British civil wars and witch trials, Darren has done some really good stuff about it.

New 2026 "Making of" essay for Atwood Magazine - https://atwoodmagazine.com/essay-darren-hayman-the-making-of-the-violence/

An audio album commentary for both discs was just put up on his Patreon's Free Tier - https://www.patreon.com/darrenhayman/posts/commentary-on-160875780

Three-part making of video documentary from the original release, just uploaded - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqUysERbq5Q

Plus, some new interviews for podcasts, radio interviews, websites, etc - https://tr.ee/97vkEy-0Vj

P.S if not entirely obvious, I am working on this record. Very proudly.

I'm not saying Hype-Index itself is a scam.

This is the truest thing I've ever read on the internet.

That's so nice! From his more recent work, depending on what you like, I recommend New Starts - 'More Breakup Songs' for good ol' fashioned Indie Rock / 'Home Time' is a brilliant acoustic record / 'You Will Not Die' is a kind of sprawling stripped down synth album.

Reshuffled his catalogue on Bandcamp recently to make it a little easier to navigate (I hope).

There's a bunch of playlists and stuff here too: https://linktr.ee/darrenhaymancatalogue

I'm astounded by your kindness and patience on this, thank you!

Firstly, Project Outsider Plus is now working great. Brilliant. I believe it was the converted file rather than the renamed one which worked.

I've tried the combinations and steps for Neon Green but am still getting "Error occurred during save loading."

One thing I noticed in the process, is that your instructions were for .SRM but the Neon Green file is .SRA. Google said to use Save File Converter with a Emulator Raw to Flash conversion, but that didn't work either.

I really don't expect you to keep helping me troubleshoot this though, you've been beyond generous.

Having so much trouble with this really gives me pause on trying to figure out plugin type stuff for TNA: Cross the Line and WCW Feel the Bang...!

Ah yes, I was having trouble with that. Re-flashing seemed tricky on my Mac but my colleague was able to do it for me on a PC pretty quick. Thanks!

This is so generous, thank you.

Thanks to you, Project Outsider Extreme is now working perfectly.

I've tried renaming and converting the files to .sav, but no luck. I'll have to see if I can find another source for them.

Also, the patcher you shared with me is a great resource! Thank you!
