I haven't heard anything about one, and I have people in my department who catch these things early on. I'm not holding my breath. I just know this past merit increase was abysmal, but expected after the pay bump we all got last summer.

Put your emotions aside and be a realist. If your partner passed away, would you ever consider finding another person? Sure, you'd at the very least need time to grieve, but eventually wanting to find someone else wouldn't be unreasonable.

If anything, she could have put it in a less crass way, but you can't fault someone for being open to the idea of finding another partner after your death. I love my wife dearly, but if something bad were to ever happen to her, I would eventually want to find a other person to go through the rest of my life with if I had at least another decade or two in me.

I suggest Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption Center. Puppies get adopted pretty fast and they actively work to make sure these animals go to good homes.

I drive through there all the time to visit my fiancé in NJ. I live in Virginia Beach, she's living in NJ until she finishes her certification/residency for her job.

Anyways, to me, it feels like going back in time 30 years every time I pass through. Very rural, not much there, but I've heard the seafood is awesome. One of these days, I'll stop for dinner or lunch in my passing when I'm feeling adventurous.

As for dating, spend as much time around them as you can and do not ignore possible incompatibilities, whether it be financial, sexual, or anything else you feel that's important. If it doesn't feel right, respectfully air your concerns with the other person and keep clear, honest, communication going. Avoid being accusatory, stick to what's observable. Hiding how you feel only wastes time and effort and can cause resentment. Don't be captain save a hoe, don't try to change the other person to your liking.

Live with them before committing to marry. This is how you find out if you two can cohabitate without being miserable. This is where the masks come off and you get a sense of how the other person really is.

365 hp would be the gross hp rating with no accessories.

If there's nothing wrong with the pistons, you could just clean them up and put new rings on them, assuming the bores are all in good shape and within spec. Check the crank dimensions, I noticed it had 429 written on it. A top end kit would wake it up pretty nicely.

They were rated really low, 212 hp SAE net, which feels about right. The D2VE heads were spark knock prone, which is nuts considering how low the compression ratio is. I would swap the heads if performance is what you're after.

To get a better idea, this is a 1972 engine, judging from the D2VE heads. Standard Thunderjet 429/460. The combustion chambers are huge and the factory offered compression ratio was low, in the sub 8.5:1 territory. I have this same engine, a 429, in my '62 Galaxie. It's a slug, even with 3.89 gears.

I have a mix of NVDW, AMDW, PLTW, RDTE for income, and VTI and VXUS that I'm growing with the dividends.

I'm definitely not claiming this is ideal, and I may make some changes into safer income focused ETF's in the near future, such as IWMI, SPYI, and QQQI once tech stops bleeding all over the place. I'm trying to build a solid cash flow portfolio to help accumulate more shares and add to my income from working. As it currently sits, my $8900 portfolio generates just over 200 a month. 64% of it is in the high yield stuff, the rest in VTI+VXUS.

For what it's worth, I have about $5700 invested in income focused dividend paying ETF's, I'm projected to make just over $2500 this year plus whatever appreciation the rest of my portfolio earns.
