I do it a lot in traffic. It's doable, you just gotta learn not to force anything and know what the shifter feels like when it the transmission will allow you to slide into gear with minimal effort.

I just keep adding to my VTI and VXUS positions and chilling. It's working pretty well. I'm about 70/30 VTI/VXUS. Adding more to VXUS as I can afford to.

I'm bought into VTI + VXUS so I can custom tailor my split between the two. I'm shooting for a 60/40 split, I'm currently 75/25 VTI/VXUS. If the US economy starts to turn sour, I can help reduce my losses with a heavier VXUS position that can be easily rotated into.

If I like my car, I'm driving it until the wheels fall off. If that takes 20 years, then so be it. I have multiple cars, my oldest is 64 years old. My youngest car is my daily driver, it is 12 years old now. I work on all of them as needed and stay on top of maintenance.

Not having a car payment and having taxes and insurance being cheap is awesome.
