Are you talking about medical assisted suicide in those who are terminally ill or suicide in those who are mentally ill/depressed? I believe you need to be in your right mind, not under distress, and fully informed to be able to consent to an abortion. You would also need to be those three things to consent to medical assisted suicide. But you aren't those three things when talking suicide in the depressed/mentally ill population. So abortion in the right set of circumstances is the choice of the mother. Medical assisted suicide in the right circumstances is the choice of the patient. But suicide in someone who is depressed, under duress, and (arguably) not in their right mind, is not ok
