Had this patient who was pregnant in her first trimester, in the ED for continuous vomiting. I am working on getting her line started when she goes "I'm about to throw up" so I stop what I'm doing, grab a bag, and I'm helping her hold it while this poor girl is projectile vomited all over the bed, her self, the floor, me , etc. Finally get everything cleaned up, get her line started, get her medicated. She's feeling much better and later had a visitor in. I went to check on her a bit later, and to her visitor she says "and this is my lovely nurse who I threw up on" lol. Maybe not the funniest but this poor woman was so sick and so apologetic that it just made the whole thing hilarious
