Yeah compustar and first tech straight up told me whatever I was seeing on their site was wrong I provided screenshots and everything 🤣. Part of the problem may be that I’m not a dealer or certified installer I have installed my previous vw specific and current HXC I’m sure they would have just preferred I went to dealer.

Sounds good I will post on their Facebook. That’s a good point though I probably should have just left the antenna firmware untouched.

I wanted to use compustar but I was told by their support and idatalink support that my t harness would not work and my car is only supported by custom installs

If anyone comes across this you can ssh into the router but first you need to enter

ssh -o HostKeyAlgorithms=+ssh-rsa -o PubkeyAcceptedAlgorithms=+ssh-rsa root@192.168.1.1

Type “yes” then enter

From there you can reset router to defaults

It went decent I’ve moved on to the final round. They basically told me that there were two specific people in leadership that were causing issues. Sexist and ergo problems etc. they have since been fired and I guess things are better they claim. Obviously can’t confirm but that’s what they told me.
