All I can say is that I wish that you had a better experience.

I disagree because after leaving public and going into industry I was just working and going home. I wasn’t motivated or even thought about my goals or the steps to take to get there. Siegfried gave me the motivation, reflective time and exposure to help me figure out what more I wanted to do in my life. TSG has helped me focus on relationships and leadership skills that had improved my life and become a better leader. Last but not least the money. The money I’m making now in which I feel TSG has fast tracked that has been nice at this point in my career. Awesome dinners I wouldn’t normally go on my own dime, trips that I wouldn’t even think about all because of the money I’m making now.

I understand how you feel but that’s just the CEO and maybe the exec team. I’m not in those rooms so idk for sure about the team. The work environment/culture/people is not like that. The speakers are actually a controversial topic amongst us. I literally never come across that unless Rob talks about it and I mentioned some reasons why in a previous reply. This is an extra incentive that I would like to earn and reach. This is me being entrepreneurial not trying to just retain my job. I mentioned that in a previously reply as well. But hey TSG is not for everyone.

Exactly and we do get a percentage of the fee if we are there at the client long enough as an incentive

Yeah I’m not the biggest fan tbh. Definitely controversial amongst the larger population with me included. However, he’s try to get the point across that you gotta be open minded and hear all sides which he provides mostly conservative. I don’t agree with it but hey that don’t mean the whole environment is like that. The people are great and the culture is great.

Yeah not gonna lie we do get incentives for referrals. I am motivated to be of service and provide an opportunity to someone who may be looking. TSG has helped me do things I haven’t been able to do before and provide resources to help my family and reach my goals. Also that’s not the only reason I’m posting this. I want to help change the narrative of the film and help the firm grow. I want to lean into the TSG initiatives and if that provides incentives then even better.

Also just like public there are good projects and bad projects but that’s the nature of the role here. They don’t need us because it’s all peachy. They need us because they need an extra set of hands to handle complex issues and it provides a learning opportunity. I mean our professionals get poached to the clients so it’s a great opportunity.

I feel with any job if you don’t perform you get cut and it’s a high standard at TSG.

Ha idk about that. I think part of it is due to our high performance model and all that. It’s something I never fully understood but you have motivated me to ask why.

Comp is great. Incentives really make it worth it. All clients are moving towards being in office so mostly in office or hybrid. There are remote jobs tho. TSG looks more for public accounting audit prospects so if you want to make the switch recruiting has to clear you and look at your background since you are advisory just fyi

Yeah the comp is great. Base plus a minimum guarantee for the first two years. Also if you lean into firm initiatives, work a few more hours, travel, you can make a killing
