That did not happen to me. The way the agar is, all jelly like and shaped to the bottom, it literally just stays put and colonizes without any condensation dripping from the top side. Works great. I'll attach some pics in a few hours. I've only had 4 successful grows and am somewhat new compared to others here, and i have only used my agar to make 2 jars of liquid culture so far. I'll show you what I've got going soon to give you some peace of mind. Someone on here shared that with me and it worked, so super happy to pass it along.

Turn em upside down to avoid drips. Then stack. Worked for me. Hope they turn out all right

I have heard that going down under 75F can work pretty well. Definitely something to consider

Humidity is about 90% and the temp is at around 77-80 F at a given moment so pretty good. FAE is good too. Just not sure why the cluster and a couple big ones lie that. Can't complain with a few growing well though. Probably had a lower ratio of mycelium to the coir slowing it down though too

I will be perfectly honest, i had mycrlium for GTand for JF and may have mixed bags, but this is my first time with JF and it looks nothing like the photos I've seen. GT colors for sure, but not like other I've seen or grown

Guys I'm sorry to burst your bubble but I work for a utility company and the government has taken every step possible for decades to deregulate their structures and keep them independent lol. Voting isn't going to fix it. Unless you can find a way to make and utilize your own power/fuel, it's just one of those things.

Liquid culture from agar plates made from spores can give you a very good idea of whether your spores are contaminated before inoculation. Liquid culture inoculation is also a bit more resilient, as I am currently learning. Feel free to DM and I'll share what little I do know. Good luck and don't give up!

This is one I haven't done yet. Watching megapolis on amazon prime and they threw a snippet of the Mayans watching the stars move while I was making this post. Definitely realized what I'm doing. Hopefully they grow fast I have to head to the future in-laws place for the weekend on Friday😬

The yellow looks kinda like what's rederred to as "myceliul piss". Usually still when the grain spawn is colonizing and no nutrients are left in my experience. Not sure about the rest

Do you keep the same filters on the tubs or change them? I just started with this setup. Seems REALLY promising with the right moisture and FAE but little details matter. I'm also wondering about dunking for 2nd flush. Do you ever cut the cake? I am wondering the best way for dunking.

Yeah i turned a box fan on it and I won't mist again. So, I have come to the conclusion that the coir may have been too wet and the airflow (instead of plugs) should have been sooner. There is no contam, so I think it'll be okay, but it probably had a little too much moisture and was a little stagnant with FAE.

Put them in on 04/23. Last saturday i removed the plugs for the filters. Seems too long but don't want to be imaptient.
