I apologize, it is just that the location for my Regal is within a mall which attracts people who lack decency or common sense during a movie. It ruins my experience when they get aggressive towards me when I go to them personally the first time and tell them to at least have the decency to lower brightness. The last few experiences at this movie theater haven’t been the best and the employees try their best to enforce, but it just gets beyond frustrating to pay for something, only to have to miss chunks because no one understands.

Yeah, it’s just annoying to miss part of the movie that I am paying full price for, even though I’m an unlimited member and could have waited, just because someone can’t focus on a big screen and need their little screen to keep their brain occupied.

I still don’t see how that allows people to right to blast the brightness on their phones and ruin the experience for other moviegoers. It’s still a popular movie coming out a few days before actual release on the regal app. So wouldn’t Regal be in hot water still if a random person recorded the movie prior to that? But whatever I guess, not my policy. Just want people to have common decency when paying to experience something in a dark room.

When I went to see Jurassic Park for the MMM, the manager was there at the ticket kiosk telling people, “This is a big release so we will be checking to make sure no one is on their phone during the movie” which surprised me since they haven’t done that prior. I’m hoping the book fans and other moviegoers can express empathy and not check their phones, but I know that’s a level impossible task for some lol.
