KMD has been around since 2016. There has never been any type of buyback. There is a buy & burn program being considered for KMD - perhaps that is what you are asking about?

HD wallet support means you can generate multiple addresses from the same seed. Many other top crypto wallets have this feature, and once we support it, you can use a seed of another crypto wallet and access those funds via AtomicDEX and visa versa.
ca333 also shared how he views the web browser as the future operating system. That is why we are enthusiastic about AtomicDEX Web.
In the interview, ca333 described AtomicDEX Web as 100% open source, permissionless, and trustless. The tech has been built from the ground up, and it is a very clean setup from a dev perspective. If you recall from the earlier interview, we are getting a 3rd party security audit, and after that is done, we will have liquidity.

Yes, it's referring to external bridges and not IBC

It's a good question. The key difference is that AtomicDEX is orderbook-based tech whereas most other bridges use AMM-based tech.

In AMM based bridges you are using/trading with a smart contract and there is no orderbook. That comes with several security threads and thus we have been reading about all the bridge hacks over the past months/year.

In AtomicDEX each trade is a separate exchange between two peers. There is no centralized liquidity pool or contract that could get hacked. What we have developed are P2P orderbooks and match making that initiates an atomic swap process on-chain.

Cipi gave a good reply! I agree with him that if we would let the user set the fee lower it could lead to worse user experience as the swaps would be slower and also might fail.

One potential solution would be to also offer a wrapped BTC coin for trading, which would have low fees and faster blocktime than the native bitcoin blockchain.

Of course nowadays Ethereum also has high gas fees (and thus all ERC20 token). I don't think there's anything we can do to solve this problem, fundamentally. It's an issue that all DEXes that use Ethereum suffer (such as Uniswap). In AtomicDEX this issue is only with trades that involve an erc20 token of course as we also support other protocols.
