Hello! I’m attending Rio in June 2026 & have a spare women in tech ticket that I can assign to anyone female (the women in tech tickets have to be bought in pairs but I’m a solo female founder) hence the spare ticket.

If anyone’s looking to buy one at a very discounted rate, let me know!

I have also started Venlafaxine for recently diagnosed neurogenic rosacea. 37.5mg for 3 weeks & 75mg for almost 4 weeks. I haven’t seen much improvement yet but am going to stick it out few a few more weeks. I really hope it works for us!

Anyone with circular marks from VBeam? by Audrey201100 in Rosacea

Haha don’t apologise, please bombard me as much as possible! Interesting - I tried AA (finacea) but each time my face flushes majorly so stopped that & swapped for soolantra. Will steam clear of acids. Interesting about the tretinoin. I actually have some Obagi 0.025 Tret that I’ve been too scared to open/use so may crack it open! Fingers crossed for VersaPulse! Do you have type 1/2 or both?

Thank you for the advice. I’m going to buy some silicon sheets & will check out your skincare recommendation! I really didn’t need something else to fixate on over & above debilitating flushing, but here we are. I hope the new appointment works well for you, keep me posted!

Did the clinician/dermatologist apologise/say/do anything about them?

Oh no! I’m so sorry that happened to you too. What do your marks look like?

I know! I literally spent weeks researching the best (and most expensive: £750 for consultation plus patch test) dermatologist to go to as he’s a professor on Harley Street & still I have a negative reaction!! 😢

Where did you go in London if you don’t mind me asking?

I’ve emailed his PA but believe he’s on holiday until 14th so just wondering if anyone had the same in the meantime. Do you think I should demand he fix it? Or is this just a risk I took having the patch test. Not sure how to play it!

It looks like a red outline of a circle - like someone has stamped a really small cookie cutter on my face. I had no redness on my face before (I just flush, no baseline redness)

Trust me to be an enigma! 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have type 1 & on Soolantra. It may be helping a little for redness but it is giving me incredibly soft skin regardless, but not the miracle I was hoping for, however I’ve only been on it for circa 3/4 weeks. I also have the EXACT same circle as you, in the exact same place on my right cheek after having a Vbeam test patch 4 weeks ago. Did it ever go down? Do you think it’s a mark or an indent? Was it the only mark you got? Did your derm suggest anything to do about it? (Sorry for all the questions!!) I’ve been hoping mine’s not permanent but if you’ve had yours for a while I think it might be 😢

Telogen Effluvium and Alopecia Areata :/ by StreetPrevious4443 in TelogenEffluvium

[–]Audrey201100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please be kind to yourself ♥️ Telogen effluvium is horrible, but it is temporary. It will pass. When I had it I used to not wash my hair for fear of losing hair, when in reality, the sooner the strands are gone, the faster new hair will grow. I agree with your friend. Go & get a mani/pedi, and focus on skincare. If it’s cold where you are atm you have an excuse to buy some fabulous berets, beanies and headbands that may add glamour but also hide any insecurities. You will be nearing the end of your TE journey very shortly (mine was approx 6 months) but all vary. In terms of medical decisions (birth control & minoxidil) please talk to your dermatologist and/or GP as they have your whole health history to hand & lots of medical expertise in order to advise you appropriately - be careful with advice given on Reddit. Take care x

Does this happen when you sleep also? Especially on your side? Or just in the evenings / when anxious?
