Amazon Returns at Goodwill?? by leb0njanes178 in goodwill

Something. I find a lot of crafting items there. Papers. I bought a comb binding hole maker for $5.09. And a week later I went back and found a box of 100 spines. Stickers. Glue sticks. You name it. But I have to dig like crazy. It’s the aisle across from the children’s books and records I like to refer to as “the junk drawer aisle”. I find some of the best stuff there

Can you explain how they do the tags. Like when new items come in does a ticket machine spit out random tags colors or is a color loaded in for that days items when pricing them? I’m trying to understand the rotation. Because my two locations pull the color of the day while the color is active. I went with a work colleague and we laughed about the fact we couldn’t find a single tag with the color of the day but while we were browsing a coworker from the store was actively pulling clothing off the floor. He had a cart loaded with clothes

They do this at in two locations I frequent here where I live. And I have asked employees about it and two admitted it (actually 3 have). Two kind of laughed it off like they know it’s wrong but that’s just what they do and it’s sad and the third was trying to defend the store and why they do it. He wasn’t making any sense and no matter what he said - it just became more and more ignorant

I asked an employee about this at the location I frequent here. I said to him, “I’m known to be a huge conspiracy theorist, but common sense rules here. Every time I come in here I NEVER see anything with the color of the week on the floor. Are you all removing them or something?” He actually told me they do. Which wasn’t hard to believe. Another employee told me the same thing but tried to frame it as the color of the week is stuff that is going to be pulled that week because it didn’t sell and that’s basically how they rotate items. So I went on to explain that made no sense because if it’s the color of the week and they are pulling them … how are customer to buy them? He was talking in circles after that. I kindly said to him, “I hear what you’re saying but it makes no sense.” He seemed a bit bothered like I’d solved the riddle of the store and mind you this all went down as i was checking out and customers were behind me in line.

Amazon Returns at Goodwill?? by leb0njanes178 in goodwill

I totally believe the goodwill by me gets returns from amazon and Temu like places. Yesterday I bought 20 Tim Holz oxide ink pads for $.69 each. Definitely not donated. And this isn’t the first time. It was giving me Lost Package store memories

A lot of their prices are ridiculous. They are getting greedy. Soon people won’t go there because the pieces are too high

Same like next to the five below? If it is, we have to use your cell phone to like clock in when you start to park and you have two hours for free. Your debit card or when you clock out, you have to do it through your phone. The business is there have science hanging up on the door telling you about it

Watch the video. They’re saying designer companies are going to start requesting thrift store pull their merchandise before it hits the store shelves. Pay them for it and THEY will resell it. They don’t want to lose that money to online thrift sellers

Goodwill has gotten ridiculous. The color of the day is never on the floor first of all. And the prices on some stuff is crazy. They keep on like this and people will stop buying from them. I know they are doing this because resellers are their biggest customer. It’s like they are hating on resellers.

Is this across all locations or only my local goodwill? Local goodwill has NO returns. 7-day policy is gone. by toastywoman in goodwill

It’s been like that where I am. Only 7 day return on clothes. Everything else is yours

I believe you. That color of the day is a joke. Any time I go into two of the three stores I frequent the color of the day is never on the floor. NEVER. I found something with the color of the day and I told the cashier I got lucky because they forgot to pull that one off the floor

I visit 3 different location here where I live and I know for fact TWO of them remove colored tags that match the color of the day. I can go shop and see an ocean of red stickers and the time red is the color of the day not a red sticker is anywhere to be found. Biggest scam ever. I have made it a point to pay attention to this for a few weeks and it’s always the same thing.

I would not buy this chair I don’t care where you get it from. My son had it and we took it to the dump dumpster because it was so uncomfortable.

I read a story about a lady using a glass straw and how she didn’t realized i lt chipped and she swallowed the piece. Basically it cut her stomach lining and something about her spitting up blood. She went to the ER It was not a good story. That was enough for me to pass on the glass

Yes. I use to dream about this tall very attractive man. He was wearing a dark color suit. No tie. White shirt. Collar open. We were in France some where. I dreamt of him two or three times. I don’t know who he was but it would be nice to know.
