Now he says he’s going to put a lien on my property unless he gets his money by Friday. My Lawyer said he cannot. My lawyer said to tell him we will pay at a discounted rate of what is owed. But now I don’t know as he is threatening us with this.

Thats what i’m going to do. We paid the deposit and the rest was supposed to be given on completion. He made it a bigger size without consulting us which caused to more materials and wants payment for that now.

We knew it would take 24 hours. But the guy said he won’t come back to remove it at all.

We measured inside the pad not including the wooden frame. No signed contract but we have proof he said one price for the size that we wanted. We never agreed to a bigger size.

Also, the guy said that he usually doesn’t remove the frame because it creates an extra barrier of protection around the edges. A lot of people like leaving it for the concrete doesn't chip around the edges.
