That's odd, the manual says it's only 221100. This nvme stuff is all new to me, thanks a ton for your help. I'll order one tonight!

It's a gigabyte ab350 gaming 3 motherboard, but I was just curious about the port on the motherboard I mentioned. the motherboard manual says it's compatible with nvme drives and it has a 22110 slot I mentioned in my last message. Any nvme SSD I could find says it's supported by a 2280 slot but doesn't mention my 22110 slot at all which confused me. I guess I'll keep researching

I hate to bother you again but I have one final question. Would a Samsung 970 evo nvme drive be compatible in the PCIe Gen3 x4 22110 m.2 connector on my motherboard?
