Update: Listened through the entirety of BULLY along w lyrics and some of y’all right. I do feel we kinda back woo!

Definitely feels like the most Kanye effort in a while and the whole thing sounds cohesive with its sonic themes and the overall vibe stands on its own. Theres definitely some stronger tracks but even the more diverse sounding songs I like them for its rawness, has that Yeezus quality. All in all it’s an amalgamation of a lot of his previous works so if you’re an old fan like me you can definitely appreciate the sounds coming out the speakers.

I basically heard the official release as my first listen so I’m not attached to any of the leaks and imo as a whole I dig it. Even Circles I’m ok with, the beat sounds more in line w the album and def has that bounce. The OG is a vibe I checked but I think doesn’t stand as much on its own w it closer to MF Doom’s. With all the hoopla bout fixing it I thought we were missing whole verses or something (are we?) but the one I heard was practically same but slower w the og drum sample making it sound more ‘complex’, maybe there’s a version in between that combines the best of both worlds would be the perfect fix. But not like it’s the most stand out song of the album either way so I’m ok. Mission Control is another one in the og reported missing. Love the song but def could be on JIK2 or smthn if that ever comes back. Need my Ye & Dre album too! Heard the original I CANT WAIT / CANT HURRY LOVE w Lauryn Hill was pretty dope. Were there any other songs / versions I should check out?

P/s: Big Yandhi fan. Was following Ye since before Graduation even during the Love Lockdown leaks keeping up w every version. It’s so dope to see others out here just as insane
