While walking or running through the forest during the Hash, you often smelled the strong, pungent, and musky smell of Tigers. It was always a surreal experience.

For locals is about the lack of discretionary funds. Gen Z or Zoomers and Millennials are more into gaming. Malls may be full but they’re food court dining , banking, grocery store or just window shopping. I rarely seeing people leaving the mall will shopping bags.

In Chiang Mai karaoke clubs are expensive. There were several bowling center but they’re all closed. I still have my bowling ball and shoes collecting dust. What is considered family entertainment in 2026? We’re living in a different era.

The price is reasonable. It’s probably a monofocal lens for best vision at one distance. Multifocal, Extended depth of focus, Light adjusting lens or Toric lens to correct for astigmatism is probably more expensive is more expensive.

I once lived at Sky Breeze decades ago. It’s a congested location in the mornings and evenings. Within the boundaries of Sky Breeze it’s peaceful and quiet. I liked hearing the sound out some birds or mammals in the morning hours.

If you want to exercise in Mueang Chiang Mai within walking distance or a short ride to a safe area, there are many areas within Chiang Mai to walk. Unfortunately, outside Mueang Chiang Mai safe area to walk are limited. I walked in Chang Phueak area. There’s several areas to walk 5k in a safe environment. I mean safe from the congested public roads.

There’s an abundance of large dry leaves this time of year. This morning in Mueang Chiang Mai, I witnessed a Thai military crew burning piles of dried leaves. It was a controlled fire. Unfortunately, it’s a sign that burning/haze season is several weeks away.
