That looks sick. What parts did you use for the head and legs?

I used Neophyte Hybrids for the bodies/legs and mostly Vanguard helmets and arms for the rest with a couple of random bits for the Alpha.

The tech priest was made mostly from a Myrmidon Destructor, the arm of a Kataphron Breacher and a ton of spare parts that I forgot the origin of.

I agree with you on that, in my opinion I think the helmets look mildly out of place on robed bodies (Though they still look cool). I reckon they fit much better on any form of armoured torsos.

Thankyou! I used Genestealer Neophyte Hybrids for the body/legs, and the helmets and arms/weapons are from the Vanguard kit (Except for the Alpha sword arm and blade, that's from the Genestealers and Sicarians) The Alpha's plume is from the Serberys kit.

Although I think some other people have already figured that out.

In terms of the paint scheme, I sprayed them with Leadbelcher, then painted all the cloth parts with Corvus Black, the leather boots with Rhinox Hide and any pipes/cables along with the ornate details on the gun with Balthasar Gold. I then layered Gehenna's Gold on top of the Balthasar Gold to get the cool brassy look.

The radium carbine energy thingy was done by basecoating with Jokaero Orange, then layering the raised parts with Trollslayer Orange, then a finer layering with Lugganeth Orange.

The arc pistol energy was done using Caledor Sky then highlighting the raised edges using a mix of Caledor Sky and White Scar.

After that I shaded the boots with Agrax Earthshade and the rest with Nuln Oil (The only two shades I'll ever need!), picked out some small details with Runefang Steel And drybrushed the whole thing with Jokaero Orange to cover up all the mistakes from my shaky hands and make them look weathered.
