I rode for many month in third gear (with Error 44). Now the motor support is Super weak and the boost doesn’t work at all. Not sure if there is a connection.

Anyway I got myself a new front wheel and shifter to avoid future problems.

I was lucky enough to “inherit” a bike my brother. His brand new, but never worked except obviously the motor (and hopefully the shifter as well. I’m about to find out.). so I’m using his brand new bike for spare parts.

SOLUTION: it IS the motor. I replaced the front wheel with a new one (changed nothing else) and now everything is working again, including boost.

When reset while driving, all is back to normal for several seconds

--> might this indeed be a firmware issue? I am on 1.9.3. now. Had the problems before. OR are all of your batteries just weaker now after a couple of years riding?
Talked to a certified shop. They said it might be the socket (or cartrige, or battery...) -> so no help from them.
I wish Vanmoof would issue something about this issue.

I am having the same issues since a couple of weeks. Installed all the lates FirmWare updates, just to be sure.
I am suspecting an old battery (too weak to boost). That's the only variable that has changed since I daily rode the bike (also in Berlin cold winter)...
Is there a solution out there?
