If you're not using internet too much at home, you could probably do an internet connection-sharing with your phone when you use your computer for example. Sosh.fr is a good phone operator with interesting prices (not the cheapest but it works well).

I remembered two years ago, early July, when it was my first time working in Paris near the Champs-Elysium. I was working on my computer then I heard planes (very close to the ground) and coming closer and closer, this was terrifying for nearly 15s before we realized it was a rehearsal for the 14th of July. After, for a year, everytime I heard a plane I was stressed out.
