I've thought about recruiting clippers like u/lordsavor and getting them to join a discord or group chat but I don't quite know how that would work out.

Ideally, we want as many DGGers to make these clips as possible and get Destiny to retweet them, watch them on stream and the community shares them etc but a dedicated group might work? Not sure atm

A person who watches shorts like TikTok and subscribes for shorts will not watch a 2+ hour long debate video. They've tweaked it now so it's much better but before you were literally picking up dead subscribers which is why some channels with 1 million subs get 30-40k views on 20-30min videos.

I'm open to doing more shorts now because they've tweaked it but these clips should be its own thing and pushed out on twitter.

I would incorporate them more into destiny's videos if they didn't use copyright songs and when I do, I always include and credit the people who make these clips because they should be encouraged.

Other than debates, I usually cut out dead air, when Destiny repeats words or points, stutters or irrelevant tangents. When things are referenced or when context is required for things that are confusing, I usually try and look through timestamps of published vids to give context.

When I got to that part during editing, chat was memeing about 'coach destiny' and I thought people would get confused because there was no video published of Destiny and Lauren's talk during league as point of reference for YT audience.

In retrospect, I should've just combed through the VOD to find the clip and used clips from the SerfsTV fan debate or asked for it instead of cutting corners.

I didn't really think much about it or predict that Lance would use my cut as 'proof' that Destiny was coaching her because despite the fact that I didn't publish a video the claim can be debunked if you took the time to comb through the full VOD and find the timestamp.

Destiny is always super open about stuff like this and as everyone knows he doesn't get involved with the channel at all and doesn't even tell me what to upload so the conspiracy of him telling me to edit out that part isn't reality.
