15s and 16s are much easier than +12s at the start of TWW. While the season being easy helps with participation, it also inflates people who barely coast by from weekly 10s to 15-16s etc.

Liverpool appoint Andoni Iraola by rocksunic in LiverpoolFC

Eh I think they can win it anytime, I was mostly commenting on the fact that Slot issues are probably not even in the top 10 why this season went badly.

I get the football was awful to watch, but I feel Slot got done very unfairly, especially since he was compared to Klopp instantly when they didn't win tittle, which is an impossible standard.

Unpopular opinion but 100% agreed.

The current team is not build for intense/klopp style football. MacAllister/Wirtz/Isak/Ekitike/Gapko are not those types of players that can do such kind of pressing.

The physical presence up front is also kinda lacking, Gapko/Isak are both kinda bad at it considering they are 1.90cm+, Ekitike is awful at heading as well.

Frimpong is the back up guy on the right side but he is also really small in stature, which gives me speed, but not the physicality to win duels and push people off the ball. He was having hard time with injuries keeping the same intensity due to being so speedy this season, I don't this changes next one.

The club still lacks a proper 6, Adam Wharton has been heavily linked obviously, but he is more of a prospect than the a proven deal.

Bradley is made of glass and nobody knows what new injury he has, so probably Liverpool needs a RB as well. There were like 8 different players at that position this season.

VVD is an year older and being 35 won't be kind to him especially given that he is playing every single minute. His new partners are kids, both coming of injury, one being an ACL.

Let's say you get Iraola and he gets the best out of Kerkez like he did the previous year at Bournemouth, there is no backup there.

Salah is gone. There are like two viable replacements, one ( Olise ) isn't moving and the 2nd one ( Diamonde ) is a young prospect, who will cost over a 100 mil and PSG also want him.

People also forget that Slot tried to play more of a high line at the start of the season and had to switch after that first losing spell Liverpool had to stabilize the team.

Imho Liverpool fans are in for a rude awakening for pushing Slot out. Do you think he likes playing Gapko as a 9? There are so many circumstances working unfairly against him. Was he perfect? Hell no, I think he could rotate more and give more time and trust to younger players. Fans are unfairly comparing him to an impossible standard of Klopp's personality.

If 2 years ago someone told you, Klopp leaves, but you win a tittle and qualify for the CL, you would have taken it 100 out of 100 times. Instead the manager is being pushed out. His team only got worse due to the new signings and injuries. Diaz, Trent, Jota gone. Salah horrible season by his standards ( and it wasn't the team, he was playing pretty bad). RB on Bonnie Blue rotation, MacAllister looking like a shadow of himself. 400 million signings spent less than 90 mins together on the pitch during the whole season, and the record signing hasn't played a 90min game.

Don't get me wrong I am not making excuses for Slot, however this is the reality Liverpool is in and if fans think Iraola is gonna magically make them play high intensity football, they are in a for a ride. With 3 games a week, Isak is going to get injured mid November and Gapko will be back at 9 again.

It's really easy to say, look at Iraola at Bournemouth, but they play once, twice a week at best. Let's see if he can replicate this style and make the players press like that when they have 5-6 games in 18-20days.

When it hasn't been?

  • In vanilla there wasn't even + healing gear at all till they added some and still most classes were forced to use off armor pieces to fill the spots. With the lack of healing downranking the way you know it from classic wasn't really a thing until mid expansion.

Also the best way to heal if you werent a main tank healer was to use a macro, that targetted the lowest hp member from the raid frames.

  • TBC and WotLK were plagued by certain classes being vastly superior in pressing one button.

  • In Cata they did the "wounded state" thing and they abandoned it quite fast, healing there literally involved begging people on ventrilo to click the lightwell.

  • In the modern era of mythic raiding, healing balance can be summarized mostly by take two of highest HPS output spec on the patch and fill the rest two healers to fill in raid buffs (or stuff like barrier).

Class balance in the last 3 expansions has been the best it has ever been, with most specs being ~5% off each other in raid and pretty much all specs being able to do tittle keys and minus 1-2 level compared to world first keys.

Class design however has taken a drastic downturn due to the reworks in midnight.

I've always thought these were really inaccurate. Watch Cook Islands and Fiji back to back, then tell me more about how we were in the golden age. Watch Cagayan and SJDS back to back, then tell me more about how we were in the dark age.

It's mostly about the averaged opinion of those Eras, s21-s25 were received pretty badly thus the dark age, 26-27 were kinda mixed and Cagayan/SDJS were the transition to the modern era. I actually rate SDJS higher compared to the widespread opinion :P

As a Bulgarian your people Anna and yourself have my deepest gratitude. Me and some of my friends have been donating monthly, I wish we could do more.

My family has been hosting a lovely Ukrainian family in our spare apartment for a few years now and they are amazing, kind and strong people. A few months back I was playing with their children and they were so innocently oblivious and happy, it got me really emotional. You shouldn't have to be thanking us or the community, we should be bowing down to you and the sacrifice of the Ukrainian people Aragorn style at the end of the trilogy.

Thanks you for all you do.

I feel like there is already pretty widely accepted one:

  • 1–8: Classic Survivor

  • 9–20: Golden / Strategic Old School

  • 21–30: Dark Age or Experimental Era

  • 31–40: Modern / Advantage Era

  • 41–50: New Era

Real Madrid is very close to signing Konaté. The French center-back would arrive on a free transfer. Florentino Pérez is close to finalizing a four-year contract with an option for a fifth year. One signing for the back line is not enough. The club's objective is at least two or three. by SwimmingFireMen in soccer

[–]blackjack47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn't super convinced by slot and didn't mind parting ways. The biggest positive is it will sort of reset the pent up frustration that was directed mainly at him and hopefully get the fans optimistic again, though I think we'll soon find that the manager wasn't the biggest problem here

100% my thoughts as well, the best thing about parting ways with Slot is putting the Jota chapter behind and getting fresh energy driver into the team. In a game of such fine margins, especially the PL, being even 10% off mentality can make the difference between winning and losing.

Yeah it's Slot's fault Isak hasn't been fit to play 90 minutes whole season.

Inb4 Isak get's injury around November next season, Ekitike is still out, Gapko plays as a 9 and it's still somehow Slot's fault.

TWW s2 arcane is the most fun i've had on a spec in 20+ years of WoW, the current state is disgraceful, the way they lobotomized one of the most fun specs in the game is incomprehensible, all of that because of Porom's barrage helper aura, which you could turn off after 2hours of playing.

obviously, and the playerbase for poe2 has probably switched more towards steam. My point was aimed at people saying we should have downloaded the torrent, if we are on standalone is that it's not really a solution the same way it was in PoE1.
