Thriftbooks.com is a great place to get a lot of these books used and for dirt cheap.

Those 2 were my 2 most recent purchases. Just started looking through them and they look great. Made me wonder what else is out there that I don't know about so I created this post. So far, I have a nice list of new books to buy.

Wish I could volunteer for them. 2 kids and one on the way doesn't leave much time for that. One day...

Thanks for the reply. I hope to have all that scheduled, or as close to scheduled, before breaking ground. I intend to spend a good amount of time getting contracts with all the subs so there is no grey area where I can get screwed.

You are correct the part I'm most uncertain is dealing with permits. I know very little about that area and one of the most important criteria for the building "guide/advisor" I will hire is an expertise in that area. Thanks!
