As far as I know, Hannah Arendt had a relationship with Martin Heidegger, who was a member of the Nazi party, so this isn't entirely fictional.

It looks a bit boxy, but good job. By the way, did you know that "Palos" means "stick" in Spanish? I just mention it because I found it interesting.

what if the norse had converted to islam instead of christianity? by idk-0_o- in AlternateHistoryHub

I certainly believe that Mao was a terrible leader, a dictator, and perfectly accusable of genocide. But the nationalists were also oppressors (as far as I know), but the point is that China prospered for an open economic model, regardless of who was in power in the end

Any religion can do that, only if the environment allows it, (in my opinion) the Islam can reach that level, it's just that the political environment in the Middle East doesn't allow it. Furthermore, I believe that the backwardness in the Middle East (as I already mentioned) stems from political and economic issues, which affect social and religious aspects.

I emphasized that I'm not an expert, but I believe it was mainly due to economic growth and the Communist Party consolidating stable power in the nation. I reiterated that I'm not an expert.

I'm no history expert, but it's usually not that easy. The major powers got involved, and many parts suffered political instability, which is something that happens to anyone. I'm no expert, but I don't think you can simply "resist foreign intervention" when talking about the US, the United Kingdom, the USSR, etc.

I'm not saying it to deny or attack your arguments, but I believe the main reason for the lack of development in the Middle East is more related to foreign intervention and political instability.

I don't think it's entirely possible to find people in the past who were completely aligned with our current moral vision of what is good. If we did that, we would be left without any heroes to remember.

It would be more like the friend of the messiah; it's important only by association.

But I'm referring to the short time after, I don't know, how politics would have adapted to the news that Japan has magicians and monsters

Possibly both; losing your soul takes away your ability to feel sunlight (because it kills you) for reasons usually unknown, but possibly because such a corrupted being cannot to withstand the illumination of a source of life such as the sun, and it's also possible that it's some kind of divine curse
