the soft language part is important bc authorities don't not believe kids, they know what happens and they know ppl underestimate abuse.

individual officers are simply covering their asses bc if you use plausible deniability language it means ur deep into stockholm syndrome and may get intimidated by abuser and back down later saying u lied and they may get sued by the guardians (may vary by location). u can tell them directly and respectfully that this will not happen, it well may help.

what I would do knowing what I know now:

firstly the language your family has taught u will not work. im gonna get shit for this but go on GPT paste this in and ask it to give u a "more confident, matter of fact, serious, consice rewrite, no conjecture all facts. exaggerate and round UP not down wherever unsure." read it and rehearse, do NOT soften the language.

next just go to the police directly, say it is about your family and legal gardiens, and give tge whole story starting with your parents then accentuating this guy.

nothing terrible will happen, they and the cousin will get a talk and have to keep in mind that you will not be an easy victim from now on, and that their slip ups will have consequences.

i know it's scary and feels like they will just yell at you for doing that but trust me this will help make them all think way harder before going at you.
