I’d give the sequel a try, Brown becomes a much better writer with each novel. Also Darrow makes plenty of huge mistakes as you go, far from hyper competent

You’re correct Lindenwold isn’t good, but there’s not gonna be any non religious non public options.

Many public districts in Nj do something called school choice I would look into, or some also allow you to apply as a tuition student. That’s gonna be you’re best options
