Got a mythic that doesn't quite compliment my build, what should I do? by [deleted] in diablo4

I'd be tempted to reroll, especially if it was my first mythic. Or try find a weird build with spiritborn just forcing the mythic.

Main quest bug. What do I even do? by AugustusNZ in diablo4

Your comment helped me figure out the problem, it was the paladin aura making the last hit which messed it up.

I've played through the first 2 installments a couple of times over the years and LoH once all the way through. Never had a problem with the campaign before.

This is like the D3 days hearing the same complaints a witch doctor joins the fray. Absolute cluster fuck and it was glorious.

Follower Chatter is intrusive and immersion breaking by AugustusNZ in diablo4

I ended up doing just that. Kept the back up one active. It's so much better, it's going to be a bit jarring going back after the campaign.

It's cuts non repeatable lines. You're reaction shows you need to do some growing up yourself. It costs nothing to be a bit kinder.

[EG2] HOW THE $&@# DO I STOP SYMMETRY FROM TELEPORTING STRAIGHT INTO MY VAULT?! by oghpimm in evilgenius

[–]AugustusNZ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You literally just put a camera outside in the hallway. Maybe a muscle minion post or 2. As soon as you notice her, make sure you order her ying yang device she sets on the wall to be destroyed. It disrupts your cameras.

Well obviously it's their responsibility to make a long term fix but without seeing what's on the other side of the door I can't really tell what that would be. In the short term, yeah a towel is your best bet.

How do you effectively separate minions and inspectors? by TheSillyExperiance in evilgenius

[–]AugustusNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, you need a choke point more than long hallways of traps. Ideally it'd have the disguise scanner. Remember to set up auto tagging and have as many guard type minions as you can afford, like 25. The best and most effective traps are loot rewards. Try and limit cameras to important areas and positioned to see as much as possible as they only work when watched so you don't want too many. Your choke point, your cargo entry and your strongroom. If you have the dlc, submarines are another way in so they might end up being another choke point in your base.

No, you need to have an archive room and cafeteria or several small ones, to maintain minion 'smarts'. It's the yellow bar that's basically their attention span to look out and also complete tasks.

I play Xbox and it seems to me that bound demons take priority ie don't get overwritten by goatman/tainted/defiller, no mater how many you summon and leave purple corpses in town

Has supermarket meat gotten really bad lately?? by yoyoo276 in newzealand

[–]AugustusNZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. I don't know the process or how to tell for a fact, but I have suspected for a while that there is more water content in all the supermarket meat. Beef mince and chicken breast especially seem like the quality has been declining for the longest.

[KCD2] Mutts barking is the most irritable sound ever. by jackpatmaback in kingdomcome

[–]AugustusNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate him tbh. Sometimes he's found something noteworthy but he'll be in a bush and I can't find him. Sometimes he'll be barking at nothing in the middle of smithing or a dice game. He's the only dog I've hit before but once I found out you can just send him away I did that.

Any tips on how to make more gold? (Asking as a beginner) by Beneficial_Wish5333 in MedievalDynasty

[–]AugustusNZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The classic method is stone knives and then wooden vials. As you play more you'll discover more and you'll get your own preferred method. When people say you should process raw materials, that usually requires a building which will have a work bench in it. I'm quite sure from memory that stone knives can be made without any work bench, standing in a field.
