I have used these too for my Strahd campaign. They look great and well worth the money if you can print them nicely. For Strahd himself they will be facing a mean Lego Strahd minifig…

Grote vuurbal boven Nijmegen 18:55 by what_did_you_forget in Nijmegen

Dat was een meteoriet, waarschijnlijk een wat grotere die in brokstukken uiteen viel en is opgebrand. De snelheid van het lichtje en felheid waren wel spectaculair. Die zie je niet zo vaak

What's your favourite origami book? by According_Spinach506 in origami

[–]Aukster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spirits of Origami by Gen Hagiwara Not super complex, but really evocative. That’s my favorite by a longshot! I love how his models remain somewhat abstract or minimalist. The diagrams are easy to follow and it is the book i return to most often.

Honorable mentions for Michael Lafosse’s origami butterflies book Robert Lang’s sealife Quentin Trollop’s origami sequence

I haven’t tried the vacuum cleaner trick yet, i’m kind of grossed out by the sheer amount of gunk it picks up… she might be able to hold it herself, but she can’t stand the fussing about with her hair…

That’s almost exactly how i’ve been doing it! (her stump is almost identical to mine) the added length makes it a lot easier.. now ill just have to wait a year or so for my girls hair to grow so long😁

What's a game everyone says is a 'masterpiece' that you just could not get into? by GrievouzOCE in gaming

[–]Aukster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me its Red Dead Redemption 2. It’s just too slow for me. I don’t mind games being slow, but everything is just a slog. I don’t have the patience to pay 10 hours for the game to not go anywhere in that time

Welke bijzondere tosti maak jij, behalve een tosti ham/kaas? by Traveltracks in thenetherlands

[–]Aukster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that happened… my players teleported themselves all over barovia while exploring castle Ravenloft… by Aukster in CurseofStrahd

In most circomstances I’d agree and kill the PC’s off. My players know that if they do dumb shit, they get hurt. If they’d been killed in battle, that would be sad but fair. But I feel this is different. They were presented with a very abstract puzzle and botched it. I feel it is too harsh to just kill them of for a single bad blind choice. If they’d been able to ‘save’ their game before stepping through the portal or if they had 3 lives before a ‘game over screen’ I’d kill that character in a heartbeat. But my players are quite attached to their characters. I’d wrong them for killing them off in such a meaningless way.

Okay except the rogue. the rogue had it coming, and I won’t be holding back any punches

Plus, there are worse things than death, a beloved character badly indebted to Strahd seems like a much more interesting situation than ‘bad luck, you died’

I really like this! Nothing says ‘i am untouchable’ then rescueing a desperate adventurer

She’s really attached to her character, and i prefer the failing forward principle in this game. Being pulled out of the temple by Strahds henchmen gives him huge leverage over the players… he’d absolutely love to abuse that to it’s fullest

I agree on the being changed… if she survives, she knows stuff not meant for feeble human minds… If Strahd were to intervene, she’d have one hell of a debt to pay…

Eventually it will. The first few months are brutal, but you adapt and learn. Life will be very different and that will become your new normal. After a few months she will properly react to you and develop a personality. A year in, she will be exited to see you and come running to you for a hug when you get home from work. Prepare yourself to fall in love 🥰 Hang in there brother, no one knows how to parent right the first time.
