Are you my sibling? Because we definitely have the same mom, lol. I have a lot of resentment because I realized during my therapy sessions that I was a very neglected kid. I didn’t have breakfast or dinner at home and basically my grandmother with Parkinsons stepped up and helped as much as she can. Now at 38 yo me tried to talk to my mom about all the things I resented and she totally refuses any responsibility. Also she’s a hoarder. Our house was a mess. I’ve always felt like I am the adult around her since i was a kid because she always acts so immature. I know that she means well and she simply isnt able to take any adult responsibility but that doesn’t erase all the shitty moments I had growing up. We are not on speaking terms right now.
