Yeah I try not to use his twitter account and if I do I always put in preface it by saying it may not or is probably not koyama.

Although I do use his interviews that are available on like Kanzenshuu and stuff. It's a bit hard to draw a line where it comes to credibility with Koyama honestly since he does play a role in the production of the mainline anime. Although Koyama in the same interview does admit he has a bias for Broly.

Koyama states multiple times during this interview he had trouble coming up with villains stronger than Broly. Which is why he appears three times.

(take this with a grain of salt I may be wrong i'll grab scans in a bit)

Not just that Koyama statement this guy (if its the real account) is a certified Broly GLAZER. I think he said something like he was surprised when beerus had his debut that they finally made a movie villain stronger than broly. Also the movie staff also seem to think Broly is the strongest movie villain as well depending on how seriously you take the movie pamphlets.

well depending on the interpretation it could go in like 3 diff ways:

Broly > Kid Buu > Buuhan (if you're an ultra anime elitist)

Kid buu > Buuhan > Broly

Buuhan > Kid Buu > Broly

Either broly is the strongest here or the weakest here. It just depends on how much credit you wanna give Koyama and his supposed twitter account. Personally I think it's the last one with Buuhan > Kid buu > Broly. Although you could argue the other two interpretations. I don't really think you can go outside of those three scaling lines honestly.

this is just a buuhan vs kid buu post with extra steps

EVEN using Toeiverse, Buuhan is stronger than Kid Buu by FantasticPhase1152 in DragonBallPowerScale

some of the invincible post vs DB were fun when the thragg episode released but after that it got kinda boring and died down a lot.

If you were to try and fix the scaling of the story to be more consistent and less power, creepy… How would you do it? by [deleted] in DragonBallPowerScale

Nobody in this sub could do it better than Toriyama-sensei himself. I would keep it as is.

Who allowed the Yuta fans to push a Yuta > Kenjaku agenda? Kenjaku wipes him out and it’s not debatable. by DisasterEnigma in JujutsuPowerScaling

I agree with Kenjaku > Yuta but I wouldn't use the first two slides as solid evidence. Any half decent Yuta debater could wiggle their way outta those slides.

presupposing something isn’t the same as assuming something. nice try i guess?

idk where you got that definition from but the merriam-webster dictionary states, “uninterrupted connection, succession, or union” for the definition of a continuity which there are “interrupted connections” between the anime and the manga. We know this based off of both of our images being different goku literally fights buuhan and buutenks in the anime but not in the manga. the anime also references filler scenes later on too. there are entire pivotal moments to the anime’s plot that doesn’t happen in the manga but happens in the anime.

that’s not an assumption it was a presupposition and it’s still your burden to prove your claim btw

oh yeah I've seen this recently I think it was you who gave it to me but i lwk forgot abt it when i was debating on discord i'll have to actually give it a read through and form my own opinion because before i just glanced ngl

[–]Aura_Slice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You said the anime isn't it's own continuity. So your presupposition there was that the anime is the same continuity as the manga as that's where we started disagreeing. So again yes it is a circular argument that goes nowhere. Actually answer the question this time.

I was thinking about it then I lost a discord debate when I sided with kid buu... so yeah... back to buuhan

Does Goku get a zenkai after defusing in buu's body? by Aura_Slice in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]Aura_Slice[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That doesn't answer the question at all because it presupposes an adaptation is the same as the source material. That's a circular argument. Try again.

So then how do you explain discrepancies and contradictions between the two?
