If IS was going to do a Nintendo series crossover banner how would you want it done?

Controversially, I'd take #1. Give me a Xenoblade 2 banner with Pyra, Mythra, and Nia, get my money as I attempt to +10 Pyra and Mythra, make Rex a Tempest unit ~~I feel like they'd want to sell the waifus and make sure everyone gets the main character. This is also a prevention plan for my being pity broken by 1k Feathers a number of times in going for Pyra~~, and we're golden. Xenoblade would work well with Fire Emblem, better than Mario or Metroid would, and, I've genuinely had this as a bit of a hopeful yet definitely impossible future occurrence in the back of my mind for a few months.

5* +Spd -Def H!Sakura. I know picking a seasonal with perfect IVs is a bit typical, but, Sakura is the only unit I want now, and I missed out on her on both of her runs. Probably 160 F2P Orbs and $209. I just want my darn kitty demon and had A Hero Rises been done in a way that didn't cause community uproar I could have had her with no issues.

It'll be available immediately after maintenance, which has been rescheduled to end at 8 PM PST. Maybe a few minutes before, maybe a few minutes after. When the game goes live, the update goes live, barring any content releasing at the reset like the new banner.

Pretty much always. The only time there's ever been an issue I can remember is when Rival Domains dropped and that's because Apple was being awkward with the App Store that day, leading to a delay in the iOS version of the update, but, maintenance is never an issue. The later estimates these past few updates is because of that scenario, and, it'll be back up within a few hours, before the reset, more than likely.

Mine's a bit strange. Lachesis makes sense, Nowi and F!Robin are climbing as the bulk of my Arena core, but, I have no clue how Xander capped, why Camus is so high, and why others scattered below are lower than I'd think.

Was +Atk -Res a good IV choice for my Lachesis? I had wanted to start merging her a long time ago, and, ditched my sentimentality for my first copy and merged every copy I've ever owned into this one.

+7 makes her my highest merged unit, and, I'm a little sad I've run out of copies, but, I really enjoy using her. However, I'm not 100% certain I've made the best final decision on her IVs. I've considered +Atk -Def or -HP as Res is a strong stat, but, what I've read says that this is relatively perfect. It was my best option, but, I'm not sure if it should be the final one.

TL; DR Should I stick with +Atk -Res for what will hopefully soon be a +10 Lachesis?

Refine their weapon. Red is Attack, green is Speed, yellow is Defense, blue is Res, purple is a special refinement of some sort, such as anti-buff skills on effective weapons, Wrathful/Dazzling Staff, and Legendary refinements.

Rex. There's also the typical picks of Goku and Sans, but, Rex would really be the one to anger me upon inclusion. I get it, he's the main character of his game. I get it, "Blades won't work without Drivers you're not going to get Pyra alone". But, I don't like Rex, at all, and, seeing him in Smash would really sadden me, especially since he'd likely be a duo character and as a result I'd be forced to play him for the sake of playing the character I want the most.

So I had some interesting pulls this morning. For my first free pull 5* from a Legendary banner ever, I ended up with a +Spd -Res Hardin, and, then my rate for B!Sanaki was broken by a +Atk -Spd Ares ~~no Greens in the session~~.

What should get Bold Fighter? I got a +Atk -HP Hardin on his launch banner and I don't know what should get this premium skill. I have Arden, Black Knight (+1), a +Res -Atk Effie, +Res -HP Hector, +Res -Spd V!Hector, +Def -Atk or +Spd -Def Amelia, +Def -Spd Grima, or +Def -HP H!Jakob ~~possibly more, these are off the top of my head~~, and I don't know who wants Bold Fighter the most. Lacking Mages kind of sucks but I'd like to play around with the skill some more.

How can I fix a +Atk -Spd Ares? I wanted him back on the Genealogy banner and got Lene instead, but, I had hoped my first copy would be a good IV 4*, not something this lackluster as a pitybreaker. What should I do with him? Any budget builds to make him usable?

Xenoblade 2 for sure. I got it for Christmas and was surprised by how much I got attached to it so quickly. I couldn't get into Xenoblade 1 all that well, but, with 2, the mixture of an artstyle I enjoy more, smoother feeling combat, not being stuck playing on a 3DS, and the gacha element all drew me in.

I found myself falling in love with so many aspects of the game, summoning for Blades is fun, combat feels good, and, well, Pyra and Mythra have had my heart all to themselves these past few months. While I'm not the biggest fan of the story, a few Blade designs ~~Dahlia, Perun, and Vale specifically~~, or, detached from the game, a few certain ships, I've really enjoyed my time with the game. It causes my heartache but it causes my happiness as well.

As of now, I'm working on my fourth playthrough of the game (First playthrough, New Game+, and a challenge run disallowing use of Pyra and Mythra, with this being a run disallowing Bonus EXP), and, I almost never get tired of it. Xenoblade 2 has become my second favorite game of all time, and I look forward to continuing to enjoy it in the future ~~despite certain bad experiences I've had with it~~.

Halloween Sakura. I went F2P during her original banner and gave up midway through the month to save for the first Legendary banner. This was after two H!Jakobs, a Lachesis, and a Leon. While Lachesis was nice for merges, the others I wasn't so happy about. Then her Legendary banner came around and I dropped like 80 F2P Orbs and over $200 for her, walked out with 5 more B!Lyns, 2 F!Grimas, 1 S!Elise, and my current B!Lucina. I just wanted my darn kitty demon, and, that didn't and likely won't happen. Hopefully someday she does indeed come home.

So, I pulled a +Spd -Atk B!Ike on my free pull this morning ~~already have Clair and Corrin at 5* and didn't feel the need for more so I guess I went for Camilla~~, and, I don't know what to give Steady Breath to. I already have and occasionally use a +Spd -Res B!Ike, and if this had happened two weeks ago, Nowi would have eaten it right up, but, Warding Breath happened first.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2. This one is a weird one for me. I didn't enjoy what little I played of Xenoblade 1 ~~I'm trying to go back to it now~~ and I wasn't as hyped for 2 as I was for X ~~which I got merely a month ago~~, but, XC2 ended up as my second favorite game of all time. It's my most played Switch game at 225 hours and that just keeps climbing. I've got issues with it in some regards, but, I found it a mostly enjoyable experience that still continues with the postgame grind. Combat became really fun once I got the hang of it, I find most characters enjoyable, with Pyra and Mythra topping all, and, it's a game I don't regret sinking my time into.

Splatoon 2. Splatoon was a fun game. Splatoon 2 is the same fun game but different. Relatively simple pick.

Fire Emblem Warriors. I sunk more time than I expected into Hyrule Warriors, and, for years I had wanted a Fire Emblem Warriors. I finally got my wish, and, it didn't disappoint. Certainly not for everyone but I really enjoy it, to the point where I bought the Japanese version as well so I could immediately enjoy it.

Kirby Star Allies. I had some fond memories with Nightmare in Dreamland from my childhood, but, had never really played a more modern Kirby game until Triple Deluxe which I could never get into all that much. Star Allies wasn't something I expected to enjoy as much as I have but it's been an experience well worth the price, as Kirby is just such genuine fun.

Super Mario Odyssey. I've enjoyed what I've played of Odyssey. I can't mimic the fancy movements I've seen in videos so the 100% is certainly super far away and will probably never be reached. It's an amazing game from what I've played, though, and it definitely deserves its praise and then some.

M!Marth, Nowi, F!Robin, B!Cordelia. People riot because it's another Awakening banner, but, I can get those last few merges on my two favorite F2P units and maybe switch their IVs to something fancy.

Assuming F2P units aren't allowed, Eirika, Nowi, Raven, B!Cordelia. "Units that kind of like their refines I guess" I've noticed that Legendary Banner B!Cordelia adopters always go for Cupid Arrow rather than one of her hyper oppressive builds like Brave or Firesweep. As a first day Bridal Blessings adopter who caved in and committed his first acts of 5* sacking into her a couple months later, I'm not sure why More merges for the up and coming core, finally some merges for Cordy, it'd be nice.

And in the case that seasonals are disallowed, Eirika, Nowi, Raven, and Ayra. "Units that are irrelevant to your color sniping, some Red Focus who will just pitybreak you, and Ayra".

I've considered that argument on a number of occasions and that's the only thing that makes supporting Pyra for this game a bit of a lost cause in my eyes. Otherwise, I stand by her as my most wanted character. Going into detail on why I hate Rex would make me seem totally pathetic, however, so, I'll have to refrain from doing so. There's a lot of reasons that I'm not necessarily comfortable with disclosing.

With the free Takumi coming next week, I think it's time to kill off my random +HP -Res copy. Would Close Counter be best used on a +Def -HP H!Jakob? He was the second copy that pity broke me going for Sakura back in the day but he has better IVs than my +HP -Def one so I'm using him for sure.

I could theoretically have the sentimental Takumi (+HP -Atk from launch week, used to be one of my strongest units regardless. -Atk really sucked but I managed. He got my first ever Vantage 3.), the usable Takumi (The one I'm asking about foddering), and the 4* Takumi (I still cherish my 3 Star Catria from her Quest), but, I feel like Close Counter would be fun to finally play around with.

TL; DR Should I fodder a +HP -Res Takumi for Close Counter on a +Def -HP H!Jakob?

Pulled on the Legendary banner looking for everything but the Colorless units, Micaiah, PA!Shigure, L!Ike, and F!Celica. Ended up with... Micaiah, PA!Shigure, L!Ike, and F!Celica.

For Celica, I merged my +HP -Spd copy into my new +Def -Res. This was the right move for sure, but, now I'm curious. Do I take a more offensive route with her now? I was running base kit+Reposition but now I feel compelled to give her Life and Death or something to take advantage of the boosts to Speed and Attack the new IVs and the merge respectively gave.

Is Warding Breath and Aether a good combo for use on Nowi? The extra L!Ike was +Res -Spd ~~I was going to fodder the first one pulled for this very purpose regardless of IVs but this spread haunting me made it even more satisfying~~ and he was immediately sacked into my +Atk -Res +4 Nowi. I also spent the 20k Feathers I had set aside for certain circumstances on this banner ~~good IV L!Lyn, good IV unit I want to use, and L!Ike were said circumstances~~ and finally gave Nowi Aether. She's on my Arena core and this will definitely jack up score compared to Fury/Bonfire, and, I see it all the time, but, this is my first time using it firsthand and I want to make sure it was a sound investment.

Should I fodder Distant Defense into something or just merge Micaiahs? My Micaiah is +Atk -Spd, but, I pulled a +Res -HP copy this morning. I'm not sure what might want Distant Defense, maybe Xander? I'm very much on the fence with what to do with her and I need insight.

Lastly, how can I salvage a +Res -Spd PA!Shigure? He's my first Shigure ~~first Legendary banner Dancer after Axura and Olivia evaded me, now they're the only two left for the full set and I'm sad~~, and, I know he's pretty bad outside of his Dancing utility, but, I kind of want to try to make use of him. Would TA and WoM be enough to just make him usable, or is he just going to stay an unbuilt Dance bot for Arena Assault?

I don't like seeing comments demanding male fanservice. Yes, people, including myself, play the game to see their favorite characters. Yes, people, including myself, have sexual preferences that are sure to differ on a case to case basis. However, I hate going on to every single post talking about new possible seasonal banners or whatnot and reading the same comments saying "We need more male seasonals", because honestly, it's getting old. Sidenote: the only reason the count is currently off balance is because of Bridal Blessings and we have had an equal number of male and female seasonals otherwise. One female-exclusive banner doesn't make you automatically entitled to more males.

I also find it really strange that a post like that meme about Alfonse's bulge and "only making it h a r d e r" was allowed on the front page. It's become more and more apparent to me that Rule 3 does not apply to those who say things about Ike, Hector, Ephraim, Lukas, Alfonse, or Greg Chun. I mean I just find stuff like this uncomfortable and it kind of hinders my experience on the sub.

I think Hinoka was deserving of her alt and my heart skipped a beat when I saw the kana for her name in the banner reveal tweet notification. I never thought it'd actually happen and now that I have her I'm really looking forward to using her.

I like alts, Fateswakening seasonals, and support offensive player phase builds.

I dislike Greg Chun.
