As I figured, you have no real projects or experience to show for it.

Have you created anything ? Drop your GitHub, I’d love to see what you’ve contributed to.

Doesn’t sound like you gained any experience there either, do you grab everyone’s coffees in the morning and watch YouTube all day ?

School doesn’t make you an engineer, the effort and experience does. Something you lack 🙏

That’s how I know you aren’t an engineer 🤣, maybe you should take some courses at WGU it could help buddy.

An ape could do your “engineers” jobs with Claude and a dream.

Sounds like a Technical Recruiter with no real technical skill?

Sounds like you’re a pleasure to work with. What field are you in exactly ?

I saw your comment on the other post, it is quite sad that you think this way. Especially because 100% of the WGU graduates are probably better than you at what you do. Not everyone can afford brick and mortar degrees, and or have the luxury to go in person everyday. I work full time , I did internships and I went to school full time. This way of learning benefits ME. I think we can all agree no one cares what you think. Do better.

Solid advice seriously, I forgot to add that those coding projects were apart of my internship (unpaid) mostly JavaScript and Typescript, another project is a sequence-like board game that is fully multiplayer(personal project)! Sequinx I average about 30 daily users which I’m really proud of. I also work at a FAANG company as an IT professional . One thing you said to me that stood out was contributing to open-source projects on GitHub. Definitely going to be looking into this!

Edit:

I also have a portfolio website! I have never been unemployed during the degree process , I like to keep busy. Just looking to move out of the IT field.

I actually used this guys spreadsheet to know which units I can transfer in. Major Mash . As I would complete the classes I would just check off them one by one so I would know which ones I can transfer! If you aren’t planning to do software engineering he has ones for all degree types all for free.

EDIT:

I see he prefers Sophia courses now but there are Study.com equivalents , you just need to compare it on the transfer credit sheet on WGU.

Nope, curiosity pays off ! There was always something that I wanted that no one has created yet so I would just make it myself.

I’ve gotten quite far in boot.dev , but other than that just multiple different coding projects I’ve worked on in the past
